3.0 out of 5 stars Not for palms I've had this vacuum for 2 years now. I will say, if you have palm fronds, this is NOT the vacuum for you. I am constantly having to take it apart to unwrap the palms from the rotar. It also frequently gets caught on our main drain. Just 2 weeks ago one of the hose segments started coming apart. This is now the 3rd that has unraveled. I would hope they would last longer than 2 years.

Sometimes the vacuum ends up in a position where it can't roll along the bottom of the pool. I had to switch back to my old hose because the new hoses let air in which caused issues with the suction. The product was easy enough to set up. I cannot comment on durability at this time.
