As a company we love many things about 8x8. But for me personally its about being able to take it anywhere. In the distribution business that we are in i can be at my desk one minute then out in the warehouse fixing problems. Using the app make life so easy to take calls or messages on the move. Also working remote is a breeze from anywhere. So to me the flexibility and ease of use is what i love the most.
i like that i am able to quickly message my colleges without having to yell across the room. its convenient when we may have students in the open lobby that don't need to hear private information.
I'm a partner at a commercial real estate company and we are very mobile. The ability to use the entire suite of services within Virtual Office on my mobile device is extremely convenient. I'm currently home on paternity leave and the fact that I can use virtual office on my iPhone and laptop means I have the ability to work from home without missing a beat. We actually have great affection for a few features: 1) When we miss a call the voicemail recording is emailed to us. 2) We are able to record calls on some of our extensions, which is an important component of one of our client services 3) When we want to add extensions or change an extension's services, it is completed quickly by contacting our account manager - and he sends emails to have us confirm changes before they are executed, so we have a record of those changes. 4) The 8x8 customer support people are very well tra... read more
The web portal and mobile app are both straight forward and easy to use. Customer service is easy to reach if needed and everything that you need in business is included with the service bundle. It's a real WIN - WIN in so many ways.
We started using 8x8 after coming off of multiple line phone system. Using 8x8 has opened a lot of doors for more personal communication with our clients. They now can call us using our personal line and even leave us voicemails so that we can get back to them faster. We really have enjoyed the hassle free softphones. Thank you 8x8!!!
My country club was paying about $ 200 per month for internet and phone for our maintenance building. The maintenance building is about 500 yards from the main club house. I looked for ways to connect the maintenance building to the club house. The least expensive way to connect was with Ubiquiti NanoBeam wireless. That solved the Internet expense and 8x8 reduced the phone expense to about $ 35. In just 3 months we saved enough to pay for the Ubiquiti equipment.
