The phone system is a critical piece of equipment in our business as we are an internet and phone based sales organization. ICA/HDR, my employer, is an asset management company who does all the inspection and maintenance for the local and state bridges. we moved our phone services over to 8X8 after suffering for 2 years with Jive Communications dropped calls, system failures and overall customer NON SUPPORT. since we have been with 8X8 we have noticed that our call volume is up, our actual lost calls are down significantly and the customer care when interaction is needed is first class! We love 8 X 8 because it is so user friendly and does everything we need and more. This is by far the best communication system I have used. Everyone here at the office uses this system from regular phone calls to conference calls and transfer of calls to personal cell phones while we are away from the office. We love the fact that I can go about my job without sitting at my desk for the phone to ring. I can prep people for phone calls with information about the caller. I can listen to voicemails at the drop of the hat! It keeps the phone less of a hassle and more of a helpful tool!
Personally I love knowing when I am missing calls even when away from my desk with the notification emails. This allows me to stay more in contact with my students and coworkers. Tim D

In operation, our 8x8 services have been reliable, and tech support has been prompt and helpful every time we've had a question. When we were shopping for a VoIP providers, 8x8's sales technician was the only one we came across who had the technical training necessary to answer our questions about security and the technologies used. Every other vendor's sales representative -- and we talked to a bunch -- had to escalate those questions to a separate technical employee. Our takeaway: The people at 8x8 know their stuff.
