We use 8x8 as a provider for several clients. Being an IT company ourselves, 8x8 has allowed us to conduct business with each client in an efficient and expeditious manner. Not only is everything smoother with 8x8's service but when we sign on a new client there has been an amazing level of customer service from 8x8's representatives. 8x8 allows iManage to always be connected. With the iOS and desktop client apps, I never miss a call. With our previous desk phones, I'd return time and time again to the blinking red light of voicemail, which is never a good customer experience.
It keeps us easily connected even as we work from other sides of the country. Our support department relies heavily on it and it was very simple to use and reliable. A couple of our new employees (me included back when I started) weren't too savy with the VOIP phones and had trouble setting them up but when each of us called 8x8 support the representatives were nice, knowledgeable, and quickly got us set up so we could get back to helping our own customers. I am a small 1 person office...my 8x8 service is flexible and fits around MY needs!!! I LOVE that I am in control of how I receive my calls and how, when and where I can check my messages. Because I am a 1 person office, my 8x8 service can go with me wherever I go...I can either unplug my handset and plug in wherever I go OR I can have my calls forwarded to my mobile phone. I personally love the ability to call from my laptop if I am working from home. The instant messenger has been really helpful as the front desk can just message me when my client arrives. This cuts down on the time that it takes to check my voicemail. It's super convenient to use and I just love love all the options.
We love the fact that it is clearer than land lines. Also love the fact that we can conference and Do Not Disturb function. Faxes are easier also and we don't have to print the ones that are trash mail.
Our office recently switched to 8X8 System. It is amazing and I get to stay contacted with my clients whether or not I'm in the office. I was on my way back to the office one morning after an appointment and my cell phone rang. I am used to clients calling me on my cellphone but when I looked at the screen I saw the 8X8 screen open up. I answered the call and was surprised that the client had dialed my work number and I was able to transfer the call to my desk phone from my cell phone once I arrived at the office.
