    Junk! I have several scanners and this is by far the worst scanner I have ever purchased. Can only scan one page at a time or it will pull multiple pages through at once. Biggest POS I have purchased.. Just threw it in the trash, where it belongs!

    The 1500 is a bottom of the line scanner. It has limited features and capabilities but at least the features it has work. The 2700 I purchased was an absolute disaster. If you want to waste time and money purchase the 2700. If you want helpful tech support find a different company. If you have any issues just save yourself time and frustration eat the loss and throw the unit away.

    Bad At Its Job The scanner constantly pulls multiple sheets of paper through it and quickly jams. Avoid this scanner at all costs.

    Jams Very Often I use this scanner at work. It jams all the time and even forces jams on one paper scans somehow by changing their direction when they pull the paper in.

    Has a large delay when using USB I use this to scan to a USB, and it has a delay of almost 1 minute with each scan, sometimes it times out and cancels the scan. The scan quality is good when it works, but it takes so long that I wish I had bought another product. I have tried contacting user support. They responded relatively quickly initially, but when I responded, they did not respond. Never found a solution to my problem.

    Mac Review - Pitiful in all respects - avoid AVOID avoid unless you love self-punishment So, say you have 8 receipts... about how many do you think you'll be able to scan. How about 3 or 4, because if you have one that is longer than a legal piece of paper it is "too long" (Really REALLY) and of course you'll get a crash out of the brother Control Center which is bad, bad, bad... as in, it crashes all the time in a Mac.     Cannot rename file - freezes up I have had this scanner for about 1 year. Initially, it worked beautifully. Fast, reliable and no issues. Now, whenever I scan something, and attempt to open or rename the file, there is a little blue circle that just spins & spins. I have to go to the Task Manager to stop the process. Very frustrating. I have downloaded the software from the Brother's website. It works fine for a couple of days, then goes back to freezing up.     Paper misalignment is a big issue. The driver disk provided with the product is not good for Mac with recent update. I had to download the driver from Brother, but it was not updated for a good run at Mac. The worst issue is that the pages are often mislaligning and I have to help aligning by hand. Brother should be more aware of these issues.

    Very light duty use only! The quality of scans is quite acceptable, but don't even think about this for office use! It's fine to scan a couple of pages a day, but has great difficulty feeding more than one or two pages at a time. It jams with multiple sheets and tears the pages you are trying to copy.
