worst movers ever in my experience i am in my 60's. 3 men arrived 2pm visibly exhausted asked immediately to use bathroom, asked if iphone charger was available for them to use and said had not had lunch. had prearranged for packing of 55" apple tv, had no appropriate materials. I provided some bubble wrap and suggested they tape a moving blanket arround rest of tv. Avoid this company like the plague. I was really looking forward to using this company because of all the initial calls and your so called commitment to customer service, when in reality all you do is professionally waste time. On the morning of the move, one of the movers called to let me know they were on the way, great. Once they got here, at 8:47, they spent over 15 minutes pulling the truck into the driveway VS the street. This company insists that you pay them after all your stuff is packed in to their truck and before they'll unpack it at your new home, which means they are estimating how long it will take and you will likely overpay. At a rate of $150 an hour, this is risky. I overpaid by 45 minutes and they refused to pay me back. I am a lawyer and sent them a copy of the lawsuit I planned to file in small claims court before they finally repaid me. THIS "MOVER" IS A SCAM!!! You've been warned. I wish someone had warned me. I booked a move well in advance, confirming several times. I talked to them twice day of move to confirm. 2 hours after they were supposed to arrive they call me and say they aren't coming. I was speechless. I never imagined that was even a possibility. Unfortunately, we did not receive very good customer service from All My Sons Moving. The quote we received was grotesquely underestimated costing much more than we expected. In addition, the move took nearly twice as long as was estimated, having us finish at nearly midnight. The movers showed up to our home smelling like marijuana and at one point even smoked on our property. There were numerous pieces of furniture, walls and floors damaged as well. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. I hired them to move a 2 bedroom apartment 1 mile away and it took 8 hours. Both apartment complexes had elevators. The movers were inexperienced, which led to the move taking longer than expected. They scuffed and damaged the walls of the old and new apartment. They damaged my Cardi bedroom set by not wrapping my furniture, they damaged the light wall plate in my new apartment and dinged the walls of an apartment we had not lived in. First of all, the individual movers were unbelievable-they did an amazing job and they were all courteous and they worked HARD. However, the management of this company is a mess. I was trying to move my elderly mother into assisted living. Management sent the movers 4 hours after their estimated start time meaning we had to move into an assisted living facility at 10pm. This moving company is horrible. They left us high and dry on moving day. They called us a few hours BEFORE they were supposed to show up to let us know they suddenly didn't have the manpower to move us that day. We reserved them a month in advance. Find another moving company.
