My elderly moving was moving into senior housing and was quoted approximately $600.00 over the phone, which was in her price range. 2 days before the move, they called to confirm and was told it may be more, maybe up to $1200.00. Now, it was too late to hire any one else! So she had not choice but to go ahead with it. After they loaded the truck, they told her she had to pay to take the furniture off the truck. STAY AWAY! This company is terrible. The manager that does the assessment was so nice and assured us that they could do the job professionally and competently but that is where customer service ended. I felt like we were taken advantage of since my husband was in a wheelchair and I has was the go to person. Where to begin......I should first mention that this was an out of state move.......So when they came out to the house back in November 2022, to look at the job, we informed the guy (Mike) that the couch and loveseat had to go out the window and over the second floor porch (basically needed to be hoisted). Terrible and unethical company. Quoted us half of what the move actually cost and held our possessions ransom. The office manager was cold and couldn't care less.
Stay away. This is the worst moving company I have eve been associated with. You will save yourself time, money, and headache by going with absolutely anyone expect for them
My movers did an OK job and nothing was broken thankfully so I don't want this review to be a reflection on their individual service. I'm leaving 1 Star because this company misrepresented itself which led to me paying a bill in excess of $2200 for moving a studio apartment 15 miles. When I called to book the move I told them that the service elevator would be available from 9am onward so they should show up then. Worst moving company ever! I will continue to post a review every single day until this company goes out of business! They were the worst EVER!!! They came and moved my furniture, broke 2 night stands, 3 bureaus, my great grandmothers refinished dining chest, a brand new refrigerator and MORE!!! Only offered me a minimal amount for the thousands of dollars they damaged and told me that I needed third-party insurance through a company they offered in order to get the money I was looking for to replace items. I booked these moves and immediately regretted it, so I promptly called and canceled. they tried to convince me to keep the move but could not garentee a move time. when I spoke to the women on the phone she told me I could move at 8 am no problem, but once I put down the deposit, the story changed and they could not confirm a time. i had to fight to cancel my move!! Absolutely HORRIBLE and deceitful company to deal with, especially the "manager". We scheduled an upcoming move over a month ago. When we spoke with them, we explained that our move would be an afternoon move out and an afternoon afternoon move in the next day due to our closing schedule, and they informed us that this would be no problem at all.
