I wish I could give 0 stars or less. Stay away from this company. They try to portray themselves as a family oriented business, but don't be fooled. Every time I contacted them, I spoke to a different person, very impersonable. And to make matters worse, the information they provided to me was inconsistent and incorrect. Should have checked Yelp before hiring. They did an OK job but they ended up charging me an insane amount for a small amount of work - way more than initially quoted. They initially said I would be charged per box to pack. BE PREPARED TO PAY WAAY MORE THAN QUOTED. All I needed was for them to pack ~10 boxes worth of stuff. They ended up quoting me over $700. Thieves! They charged me for an extra hour and for materials not used. I pointed it out before signing the paper and they said to just sign it and they would take care of it later. 1 month later and they are denying any wrongdoing. Stay far, far away from these movers!
Gave them a deposit while shopping around for moving services, but after finding many concerning reviews that did not match their Google standing, I elected to not ultimately go with them. Despite a large amount of time between when I reached out to inform them I wasn't going with them and the cutoff of when I could get that deposit back, I've still yet to see my money back, which has now been almost a full month and multiple reach outs to them in which they've said to expect it within a week. If I could give them a negative star I would. The company committed to moving me today. Today after running late they called me and said they can't come. No apologies, no trying to find a way to make sure I got moved. As we all know, this is a devastating situation. DON"T USE THEM EVER! Sean in the Boston office refused to give me his last name or the name and number of his supervisor. I called the national number and no one helped.
They will lie to you. I called and spoke with Shawn. I mentioned that I lived in a 4th floor walk-up and I needed over night storage. I was told by Shawn that they could hold all of my things over night for $250 and that it was ok that I lived on the forth floor. I was sent an email that outlined my move. Is it possible to rate less than one star? After confirming with us earlier in the week, called morning of move to cancel. "Crew didn't show up." Would not recommend this company to anyone.
The movers themselves are great. The guys who came up to help me did a very good job, but had an issue with a large piece of furniture, which caused me to have to make alternate arrangements that added time and money to my move that I never planned for. My plans were thrown significantly off track, as my move with All My Sons had been arranged weeks in advance. Both Texas and Boston outfits were unhelpful & blamed each other so no one to date has been accountable. Had horrible packers with even less professionalism. For example put one pillow in a dish box and then put multiple dishes unwrapped with any sort of paper in with lamp (yes all broken). Refused to lock first truck prior to leaving until we threatened to call cops if they left our property without back of truck with our stuff locked.
