Wish I had read the reviews. If you want to pay double your quote and have movers that show up hours after an agreed time, then contact All My Sons. My daughter was moving from Brighton to Somerville on one of the biggest moving days of the year in Boston 8/31. If you value your time and your money, run away from All My Sons like your hair's on fire! I gave them a $100 deposit to reserve the day/time and was quoted $189 per hour for 3 movers. I asked beforehand if I needed to empty out the drawers in my filing cabinets and was told no. I also asked for at least 20 boxes. They showed FIVE HOURS late, without any communication. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Completely UNRELIABLE. I wish I had read the reviews here before booking with them. I booked a move on July 10, 2021, with a deposit for a move date of August 28th. On the day of the move, only minutes past the time they were due to arrive, they called to cancel the entire move. They offered their next available date - 11 days later. The management are extremely unprofessional and callous. They cancelled a booking made two months in advance with just two weeks to go before the move - a time-sensitive move scheduled for the busiest moving time. They offered instead to move us three days later, well before we had access to the new apartment, or two days after we had to be out of our current apartment. TERRIBLE company!! we booked them MONTHS in advance and one week prior to the move they canceled on us even though we had a reservation and a deposit down.Called Zack the general manager and he said they "over booked 20 extra people and we were one of the unfortunate ones to be canceled".By this time it's peak moving season(September 1st) and every company is full!! They screwed us over so bad.If I could give negative stars I would SCREW YOU ALL MY SONS!
Would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible. Scheduled a move three weeks in advance only to get a call the day of telling me they weren't coming due to "time constraints and according to regulations".
Moved this past Saturday. I live on the 3rd floor and have a elevator. I had a bedroom set. Queen size bed and one dresser and 2 night stands. Small tv stand and a couch and tv. They wrapped up my stuff like wrapping a box with cheap dollar store wrapping paper. I asked to have my items wrapped better. Well I ended up shrink wrapping my own couch to get it covered up. Worst moving experience of my life. These guys totally screwed me. If i could give negative stars I would. They initially quoted me a competitive rate for a fairly busy moving weekend, so I booked them about a month prior to my move. A week before my move date they called to confirm and thats when they told me they were "unexpectedly" going to be using a bigger crew and I would have to pay an additional $70/hr to pay for the extra mover, that I didn't have a choice in, they couldn't honor the quoted price. If I could give negative stars I would. Where do I even start? First of all, do not use this company they are a bunch of crooks. They charge by the hour and intentionally take a long time to offload your stuff so you pay more money. I hired them to move my stuff and they were super nice in the beginning which made me confident they would do a good job.
