Would NOT recommend. Where to begin...? Moved from FTW to San Antonio. Ftw guys loaded & Sa guys unloaded. The truck was packed so poorly. The guys in San Antonio took pictures so they weren’t responsible for damage. Which didn’t matter to AMS because they haven’t taken care of us since the move we made in July 2018. After the move we had to patch up walls due to carelessness. Our furniture was not properly packed to be protected. These people also moved my recently widowed elderly mother in law and took a cash box with $1700 cash in it�When my sister in law called the owner he flippantly asked if they saw them take it or did she have security cameras�She reported to the police as well so we will see.
Our bill was well over the estimate quoted to us. We were originally told that the estimate is on the high-side and that our final bill will be less than the estimate. We were so surprised to pay so much money when they didn’t even complete the move!!! They left a lot of our belongings in the old house and we had to move them ourselves. They promised us that they will be able to move everything and that we should trust them because they’ve been in the business for so many years. *****I am very disgusted with this moving company***** I had a move scheduled today and was told someone would be arriving between 8-10am. I received a call a little after 9am and was told” A crew member didn’t show up for work and on call staff were not answering their phones ,so they are unsure when someone would arrive. I told him that I needed to know when they would arrive because I have a special needs child that has scheduled feeds and feed therapy that cannot be rescheduled due to health reasons. A very disgusting company. My mother is 60 years old and is living on her own for the first time, and trusted this company to move her things because they promised to help with things like the washer and dryer, table, etc. and provided great service over the phone. Not only did they throw everything around upon arrival, but did not help with anything they said they would. The movers were professional and courteous but office guy tried to overcharge us by a $1000 and was incredibly insulting and condescending. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Ruined our moving experience!
This was my first time working with All My Sons, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They are definitely a 0/5 stars company. I needed a standard-sized couch moved from the second-story of a home in Arlington to a third-story apartment in Grapevine. I was quoted $159. While the moving crew were excellent, the quoting crew leave a LOT to be desired. Our estimate was for 1400 - 1600, with a 250 deposit. At the end of our move, the bill was 3232, DOUBLE our accepted estimate!!! IF you use this company to move you, DONOT believe their estimations. They low-ball you to get you to sign then at the end hit you with the shocking bill.
