Scheduled a move from one apartment to another apartment in the same building about 3 to 4 weeks in advance for August 29th was told verbally between 12 and 4 PM arrival time for the movers the day of the move I called early morning to confirm if they're going to arrive around lunchtime so I then can make the errands that I need to do before they come was told rudely by a staff member that and I quote will call you when we're getting ready to come to you. My move has been a disaster. I hired movers with All My Sons to pack and move my belongings into a Pod. After dealing with them showing up late and leaving early without finishing multiple times, I am fed up with this company. I dealt with three different teams of movers and rude customer service. The second team was actually good, but the previous delay messed up their schedule. Unless you enjoy needless stress and headaches, I recommend using a different moving company.
Left a huge dent in our brand new house and for the claim they wanted to give us 50 bucks to do it our selves, very disappointed.
Not reliable!! Cancelled multiple of times and provided no updates. The manager was extremely rude. The most unprofessional company ever. Do not recommend.
never use this company. they will damage your furniture or appliances and wont pay you back. even if you get insurance, they wont pay not even half of what youve paid in your furniture. they are terrible and sooooooooooooooo unprofessional. never use them!!! ever!!!
If you decide to engage the Raleigh, NC office of All My Sons Moving ("AMS"), buy the additional insurance despite how expensive it is. The standard coverage provided by AMS at no cost to you only pays $0.60 per pound. The damage payment is not based on the value of the item but instead, the weight of the item. If they crack the screen on your 65-inch flat screen TV like they did mine, it does not matter that you have the receipt showing the value of $1,400. Worst customer experience of my life. Deceptive pricing- went to 300% of price I spoke with call center about. Surcharge for CC payment never disclosed. Charged for a packing material that was never used. Dryer is now broken. Spoke with comp rep Pamela Mcgin*** at end... she practically sneered at my concerns and said I was wasting time as the movers wouldn't unload my items from the truck until I paid. Terrible experience. I had 3 very young, very inexperienced movers on the day of the move. A one bed + office, 1,000 sf move took 9 1/2 hours! (they were billing me by the hour.) when I called during the move to say that things were not going well I was told by the operations manager that if I wasn't happy he could have his movers take everything off of my truck and leave it there. Stay Away And Be Aware! We booked All My Sons over 2 months before our move and paid a $500 deposit. We were moving on a Sunday and needed the crew to come first thing in the morning. We asked multiple times and multiple people if they would have a crew. They all said "Yes, absolutely! We work all days of the week".
