Don't fall into the trap of them making you feel good and like "family" when you call for a quote. Yeah they are like "family" alright the ones that back stab. Very nice and caring in the beginning. I changed my move date twice with well advanced notice. First time I fell behind on packing because I had the flu (I didn't tell them this, but they didn't need to know). Didn't show up in time. Movers were not motivated, unprofessional, and showed up in a Penske rental truck. More than half my furniture had scuff marks and dirt stains from being placed in the back of truck. My sectional was damaged, end table, dining table, all had gauges. Was charges hidden fees that weren't quoted over phone!! Wouldn't recommend to anybody!!

I used this company for a local move. They splintered the leg of my new couch and did not own up to it at the time. I found the damage after empting a box that was next to my couch. I called the office three times to report the damage and was finally sent a CLAIM form. The form needed to be notarized and included a statement that I would not bad mouth the company. I had used AMS in FL and was so impressed with the professionalism of the workers. Their manager even showed up at my house to make sure I was completely happy... read more

After a friendly initial phone call, almost everything went wrong. The crew was FOUR HOURS late and very unprofessional. They packed some of my belongings carefully but broke a bedframe (they refused to repair it b/c it was made of particle board). The manager was very apologetic and responsive but overall it was a very unpleasant experience.

After using this company for my recent move in Charleston, I DO NOT recommend All my Sons for anyone to use when choosing a mover. For 2 reasons: 1- pricing: The price I was charged for my move was DOUBLE of what they quoted me. When I asked about it they claimed I may have been confused over the minimum, or the gas surcharge (10%). Which is upsetting as I was not confused when I received a quote we discussed in detail what all I would be moving and the estimated time it would take to move my belongings. 2-The employees t... read more

Literally the worst moving company I have dealt with in my lifetime. The sales receptionist was extremely kind but the OWNER who I directly spoke with was rude and unapologetic. I had reserved this company for two weeks. On the day of the move, I called them at 12:30 pm to find out their status only to be told that there was an issue with a truck battery and their day was complicated. Worst moving company EVER. We made our reservation at least three to four weeks prior to our move. To make make a VERY long story short our move time got pushed back after many phone calls, and then they canceled on us at 3:00 in the afternoon because the job before us was taking longer than expected?! The Worst Moving Company In Charleston. The Drivers are very unsafe and drive erratically almost causing a serious accident. The Entire staff Are some of the rudest most ignorant people i have ever some across. SO unprofessional. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. To start with I got a number of calls from them because they had forgotten to take down some pieces of information in a previous call. (It should of been my warning if they couldn't even manage a phone call.)
