Outrageously expensive quote. $7,000 total. Of that, $3000 was just for driving 500 miles each way. Even at 10 miles/gallon, that's maybe $300 for gas. Let's throw in $100 for a hotel. That leaves $2600. For 16 hours of driving, for 2 men, that's $80 per hour.

I have used movers for large moves 3 times over the last 10 years. This is the first time I have used All My Sons, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. To start, the office staff did not communicate well between each other. I had 3 different staff members call me the day before the move, and every time they had different information on the invoice. WARNING! Lies and theft. (I also reviewed this company on Angie's List) As I mentioned on Angie's List, I should have checked the reviews before using this company. When I contacted them, I asked about the trustworthiness of the movers. I was assured they could be trusted because the person taking my call said the following: "All the staff are part owners of the company." That is a blatant lie. HORRIBLE COMPANY...WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE After giving a deposit for a move they sent me a quote with a different price, when I called to ask about the difference was told I was "misquoted", after they had my money of course. When I protested was told to "find someone else". STAY AWAY from this Company

I would not recommend this company for your moving needs. They are cheap for a reason. When you call and get a quote they do not give you all the fees and when they tell you they disassemble all furniture, it's a lie. One of the crew members was not very friendly and needs lessons in customer service. Only use them if you have to.

Worst movers ever. They showed up on time but that's where the good news stopped. We had them move our furniture to a storage facility while our house was being built. When the furniture was delivered to our new home everything and I do mean everything had damage. Large gouges and scrapes where they had stacked heavy items on top of furniture that was practically brand new. I almost always read reviews ahead of time, and I have no excuse for why I didn't do so this time. BIG MISTAKE. Several weeks ago, with plenty of advance notice, I called local moving companies for estimates. While I was still comparing my options, Wade from All My Sons left me several voice mails eagerly asking what they could do to earn my business. This was by far the worst movers we have ever dealt with in our 25 years of moving both locally and nationally. We contacted All My Sons to schedule our move for Saturday, June 27th. We had a confirmed move date of 6/27/15 for the hours between 8:00-9:00am with a three man crew. On Friday, June 26th, at 2:30pm I received a voicemail message from All My Sons however I was unable to understand the message as it continued to break up. Terrible experience with All My Sons in Charleston. I got a call the morning of my move that they can't get anyone out to me. Incredibly unprofessional and I had to scramble last minute to find another moving company. Stay away from them - they clearly don't understand the importance of quality customer service.
