Here is all you need to know. During my initial discovery call, I was quoted 99 an hour moving one mile, from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment. I also confirmed a 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm ETA before I agreed to the deposit. The next day, I received a call, after my $100 deposit, that I was scheduled as first of the day, 8:00 am, and that since since I was moving to the third floor, they would be charging $130 an hour because they would need an extra mover. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE! They do not do what they say they will do to protect your furniture, my dining room set with iron chairs and upholstered seats were not even wrapped during the move which I now have punctures in my chair seats, filthy dirty, scraped paint from iron chairs revealing the shiny silver iron, damaged kitchen wood chairs, brand new patio set with damaged chairs. Let's start with the quote we were quoted for a certain amount and the end total was almost 500 dollars more than quoted and they looked at everything prior too. They tore my walls up so now I have to get that repaired. All of my furniture (tables, beds, and tv stand)s had screws duct taped to them and there gone and I can't put anything together. We were very unhappy with our experience with All My Sons. We feel that we were victims of "bait & switch", as we were quoted a moving price and when it was over the total bill was 40% higher ... with an extra charge for tape! $66 for tape! The "manager" that I booked with promised me 5-6 wardrobes and only one arrived. Not fun to try and deal with last minute. Worst movers I've ever worked with. I work for an online auction company and we regularly contract with movers to transport clients' furniture. The three guys they sent us not only jumbled our furniture into a big pile (it was sorted by sales with tags), they also dropped the furniture at the wrong warehouse which was at capacity. Additionally, they were rude to one of our sellers and almost made her cry after asking why she was having to sell her family home. Outrageously expensive quote. $7,000 total. Of that, $3000 was just for driving 500 miles each way. Even at 10 miles/gallon, that's maybe $300 for gas. Let's throw in $100 for a hotel. That leaves $2600. For 16 hours of driving, for 2 men, that's $80 per hour.

I have used movers for large moves 3 times over the last 10 years. This is the first time I have used All My Sons, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. To start, the office staff did not communicate well between each other. I had 3 different staff members call me the day before the move, and every time they had different information on the invoice. WARNING! Lies and theft. (I also reviewed this company on Angie's List) As I mentioned on Angie's List, I should have checked the reviews before using this company. When I contacted them, I asked about the trustworthiness of the movers. I was assured they could be trusted because the person taking my call said the following: "All the staff are part owners of the company." That is a blatant lie.
