Would not recommend. This company was unclear about their fees and tried to charge me $100-200 extra. When I asked the movers why the bill was so high, they told me they didn't know but were aggressive that I had to pay at that moment. I called the company and was told that I was charged for a 3 man crew instead of the 2 man crew I requested. They refunded about $100, which helped some. I wish I had read yelp reviews instead of google. Would have saved myself time and money, as well as a headache. While my packers were extremely nice and helpful- they certainly were not the best. I would overlook this and give them a three or four star review, had it not been my experience with the other parts of this company. RIP OFF!!!! The team that came before was EXCELLENT beyond compare, so based on their service I did not hesitate to call AMS to service my moving needs this time . . . then the nightmare began. This team of movers damaged my new couch (top and bottom) by trying to force it through a door that it was obvious it could not go through. NO NO NO. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. move was done half ass, ended up costing double what i was told, i had to tell them several times what to pack including doing a walkthrough 3 times and telling them they completely missed 3 rooms that they walked in. and to add one mover clogged my toilet. they took an hour break in the middle of the move that i'm pretty sure they charged me for..

Do not use this moving company!!! If you do, make sure you read the fine Print and purchase third-party insurance. If you don't, they will only pay you $.60 per pound of the item that they break. These movers were unprofessional and lingered around in my apartment hitting on me while I was trying to move my items and clean my apartment and broke two of my giant pieces of furniture. WARNING, RUN THIS COMPANY IS TRASH!!! When the guys first came we were a little confused about their appearance. They had on their all my sons shirts but one of the guys had on socks and slippers, and we were moving out of a 2 bedroom townhome into an apartment with 3 flight of stairs. These guys were terrible. We moved across town, and our house was 80% packed and moved by our "move date". We had never utilized movers before and only needed help with the super-heavy stuff, mainly a piano and very large master bedroom furniture, etc. Maybe 10-12 pieces. This was made clear upon scheduling, and I was assured that 4 movers would be able to handle the move. In fact, I was told that they were "certified piano movers". It's no wonder they have such a bad rating. First of all they have no 18 wheelers, so they have cube trucks, and proposed using 5 guys, 9.5 hours! I have much less furniture than I had at my previous move, I'm moving from a ranch to a colonial. The estimate was because their equipment Is inadequate. I feel that I was been gouged and defrauded. If I wanted to move with a cube truck, I would hire one for myself! NEVER EVER!

If I could give zero stars I would. Bob and curtis were horrible! They were unprepared arriving VERY late. Just 2 movers NOT 3 I requested. The smell of marajuana was intense and it was clear they were high. They were cursing and slamming my stuff around. Bob kept dripping sweat all over my furniture and honestly his BO was so offensive.
