Absolutely the worst experience ever! Charged over $1,000 to move three miles. Beat up a new paint job on a house we'd just bought that was completely repainted. The guy who painted it was contacted and gave a $350 dollar estimate to fix their screw ups. Tore up our farm house dining room table which was new, a new leather couch, broke a glass cake plate, had stuff piled on boxes clearly marked fragile and glass, scratched a hardwood floor up. Where do I begin? First of all, I called and booked my move on July 7th for the move into my new home on Saturday, June 25th. I paid my deposit and they said they would call me closer to the date to confirm the time. My first warning sign should have been when I had to call the next day to move the time back to Monday the 27th because my closing would not be done until the morning of the 27th. I had the WORST experience with this company on Saturday, June 20, 2020. I know I had the simplest move of the day, but turned into a NIGHTMARE. I was moving from one apartment to another apartment (in the same complex across the parking lot). The movers got to me at 12:30 p.m. and scheduled to be finish by 2:45 pm. We'll lets just say they didn't leave until 4:00 pm BUT THEY DIDNT FINISH MOVING ALL MY STUFF. Let me start off by saying that I have moved 23 times in my adult life. I've moved across the country, I have moved across the oceans, I have made local moves. I can say without hesitation that this was the WORST experience we ever experienced. Would not recommend. This company was unclear about their fees and tried to charge me $100-200 extra. When I asked the movers why the bill was so high, they told me they didn't know but were aggressive that I had to pay at that moment. I called the company and was told that I was charged for a 3 man crew instead of the 2 man crew I requested. They refunded about $100, which helped some. I wish I had read yelp reviews instead of google. Would have saved myself time and money, as well as a headache. While my packers were extremely nice and helpful- they certainly were not the best. I would overlook this and give them a three or four star review, had it not been my experience with the other parts of this company. RIP OFF!!!! The team that came before was EXCELLENT beyond compare, so based on their service I did not hesitate to call AMS to service my moving needs this time . . . then the nightmare began. This team of movers damaged my new couch (top and bottom) by trying to force it through a door that it was obvious it could not go through. NO NO NO. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. move was done half ass, ended up costing double what i was told, i had to tell them several times what to pack including doing a walkthrough 3 times and telling them they completely missed 3 rooms that they walked in. and to add one mover clogged my toilet. they took an hour break in the middle of the move that i'm pretty sure they charged me for..

Do not use this moving company!!! If you do, make sure you read the fine Print and purchase third-party insurance. If you don't, they will only pay you $.60 per pound of the item that they break. These movers were unprofessional and lingered around in my apartment hitting on me while I was trying to move my items and clean my apartment and broke two of my giant pieces of furniture.
