First off, the move went great - movers were very good and did good work, nothing lost, damaged and no problems. The rating would be higher but just know this is an expensive mover. For 3.5 hour small move the cost was over $400 which included travel time, "materials" (tape i think), hourly rate of $79 that got doubled up when it came to travel time, credit card fees (3% on top of total) and gas fees. Worth every penny! My husband and I received several referrals to use All My Sons and they were amazing. Very professional and organized. Took inventory of all of our furniture and boxes before loading and were very timely.

I moved recently and was faced with the task of finding a moving company to move us.I called around and All My Sons was the only company that would send someone out to my house to do a survey and see what all I had. Used this company on a recommendation from a friend, as we've had nightmares moving with military movers before. The rep over thr phone was great and explained pricing and the process very well. He noted the only extra charges would be materials used for packing and payment would be due upon move in day. Our closings for selling and buying our new/old homes fell on the same day, so we needed to utilize overnight storage. We were told this would be a fee of $250 a night. Not a problem. Horrible experience from start to finish. First, they took an unusually long time to arrive at my apartment. It honestly felt intentional, like they were trying to hit a time window with heavier traffic to increase the total cost. Then they showed up with three movers when I had only requested two--and tried to charge me for the extra person. Despite leaving later than they did, I still arrived before them. Totally misrepresented, I was charged $1,050.00 for 16 boxes and 1 piece of furniture. And have had to go back 4 times to pack and move more stuff, all my furniture was already moved. Still going back to finish up 2 more pickup loads! Moved 2blocks away, and they said "we are the most expensive movers around ". Do not recommend at all

If I could give a zero star I would. I used this company 2 x , first time was not bad because I had a small 2 bed apartment, this last time which was a month ago today I had a 3 bed 2 bath and office . I boxed everything up on my own. All they had to do was come in wrap the dressers and couches and load them. But they even messed that up. I was quoted 149 per hour for the moving crew and a minimum of 149 per hour for the truck while driving. The scheduling team member I spoke with told me "this would only take a few hours of work" after explaining what was needing to be moved from my 800sq foot apartment. This was my first time hiring movers and I thought hiring movers would be the easiest option for me. Unfortunately, it made everything exceptionally worse. I had two stops before my final destination (all within 6 miles) and was quoted around 400. Their base rate is $149/hour, plus a 1-hour travel fee. On top of that, they add on a fuel charge of 16% based only on labor and travel time, so $150 for travel in my case which is freaking ridiculous.
