This has been the worst moving experience I have ever had and I have previously had experiences hiring movers 3 different times. They showed up an hour late with one guy short and a rented truck and no tools. It took them 6 hours to move my 3 bedroom house and all they had to move was furniture. No TV's, pictures and only about 8 boxes. I need to preface by saying that I did not book All My Sons but I am writing to note that I would avoid even getting a quote from this company. I have been called 27 times since I blocked the calls on my phone- 27!!! Every day since my quote request (over a month ago), I have been contacted by this company. A few calls or a follow-up would have been more appropriate. Their intense attempt at communication is a huge turnoff, and we gladly went with another company.

I guess I should have read the reviews prior to hiring them. To call the man that spoke to me on the phone, rude would be a compliment. Danny is who called me this morning to explain that the men doing my move would be HOURS late. From 8-9am to early afternoon? Ridiculous. This company is PSYCHOTIC! I was pricing out companies for my upcoming move. They called for my quote and I didn't have a chance to call back right away (it was around thanksgiving and I was busy). Since then they have called me EVERY SINGLE DAY sometimes MULTIPLE TIMES!! I don't even feel comfortable calling them back. Apparently, their business model is HARRASSING potential customers. I will NEVER hire them, and I hope they see this review and STOP CALLING ME.

Beware of hidden costs involved Fuel and Packing Materials, Travel Time (from moving place to yours and back to moving place) not really hidden, you pay this upfront and not part of the actual move. They will load you stuff and arrive at new location and tally up your enormous bill and will not unload until paid, meanwhile if you have a concern and need to discuss, meanwhile clock is still running on your bill. i hired all my sons moving from the I-10 location. it was supposed to be $333 for a 2 hr move of less than 20 items to a location 10 minutes away. well the final bill was $570!!! the movers were slow, i found them chatting away on the truck when i could not find them in the house on 4 separate occasions. i called to complain and was subjected to rudeness. the move was from a one story house to another. i did all the prep work, the disassembling of beds, covering mattresses, clearing areas to place furniture. save yo... read more
The hardware for my refrigerator doors is missing. I called, texted, and emailed the All My Sons employees that scheduled my move (Johnny and Travis) over a period of several days, and they will not return my calls. When I went to adjust the mattress for my Ethan Allen bed, I discovered that some of the hardware for the bed is missing, and the move-in crew screwed the hardware so tight, that the side of the bed is now cracked. Don't dismiss the bad reviews like I did. They will take your money and run.
