Despite wanting to go with other companies for our very simple one bedroom IKEA furniture move, we settled on All My Sons, primarily because the initial call we made was handled by Adam the General Manager. Simply put...they lie and will not own up to their damages. Stay away. Kelsey came out to do an estimate and said the final cost could be lower but will not be any higher, unless I request something extra. She also said she'd be with us throughout the whole process to ensure it's a great move. The move overall went well. The crew was prompt, respectful and hard working to get it all done. We have moved our household from one city to another on three different occasions. All My Sons (AMS) provided by far the worst moving experience we have had. Communication among the parts of AMS (estimators, coordinators, managers, movers) was poor and there was a great deal of finger pointing when their performance was poor, including fingers pointing at us. The guys were nice enough. HoweverI'm in my rent house that I'm moving from to pick up all the things they forgot like the leaf to my dining room table the large mirror from the living room and imagine my surprise when I got back and found out they completely broke the door jamb of the rent house. I would never leave a bad review, but the service that I received from you guys made me realize I need to, because I don't want others to go through what I went through. For starters, saying you will show up at 11 and not coming until hours later is unprofessional, they sent us three workers yet we really only got the work of one. If I can give this company zero stars I would!! We had Travis come out and do an estimate on a move to storage (4 mile drive from our house). He was professional and told us the movers who would assist us were seasoned and would take care of us. When they arrived everything was going ok until my wife noticed one of them on his phone for most of the move, it literally took him 4 hours to pack a kitchen that we already packed halfway. I would rate my experience less than 1 star if I could. I hired the company to move my book collection, some book shelves and a 1 year old 75 inch TV and the stand it sits on. I had already moved most of the rest of my stuff to my new house. Granted, I have a lot of books. There were 200 boxes. The movers said they had both worked together for the company for 10 years. I wish I would have paid attention to the reviews on not just Yelp, but multiple other websites for this moving company. My move started at 8am, and did not conclude until 2pm for an 1,100sq ft apartment within the same complex. I lived on the third floor, with everything boxed up and only two beds needed to be broken down. It took the two movers 4 hours (without breaking a sweat) to move everything to the truck. I called to get a quote and I was told that I would be charged $109/hr and that would include mileage and any sort of materials such as mattress pads and such. I wasn't sure on if I wanted to use them, so I told them I would discuss it with my roommate. From that day, up until I booked them, I was berated with text messages and calls three times a day.
