These folks are horrible and a rip off. First they underbid to get your business and later overcharge you. They charge by the box and I found several sealed and taped boxes that I was charged a premium for. Also found that they left unused boxes in my old home that guess what, I was again charged for. Read the fine print. Better yet, go elsewhere. I never write bad reviews but this one was well earned.
This is my 14th year in real estate and I have never seen such a poor, unprofessional job. This was my elderly clients' 7th move I have been a part of and until now, nothing was ever broken. They moved only 3.6 miles away, had packed themselves and All My Sons broke an expensive piece of furniture along with several statues and glasses because they loaded boxes upside down irregardless of the words "fragile" or " this side up."They put boxes in whatever room they so desired. Warning!!!! Do not hire this company. They used trash bags, damaged our furniture, used trash bags for boxes and the owner Andrew hung up on me twice after giving me a bogus claims dept number. We hired them a few years ago and they were great, that's over clearly. We are disputing the charges, no way are they getting money for this.
I used this moving service today to move from the third story to the first story but my apartment also has a elevator. I was told that the hourly rate was going to be $109. When I finally received an email on Friday three days from my moving date I saw that there was a minimum of 2 hours plus they charge for the drive time, packing fee and their gas. All in all the move took about 2 hours and the total came out to $403. The movers were great but damn you all are pricey.
My husband and I moved into our new home on Saturday, November 2nd. The first red flag was when we arrived at the house and the main mover threw a fit because the new house was two story. This information was disclosed to Danielle, the representative that assisted when I made the reservation. I moved exactly .5 miles from my house into a storage shed. In the five hours that took, they damaged three pieces of furniture, two walls and dropped countless boxes. All for the low price of over $1,100.
They aren't honest at all. They lie about their prices and are expensive. Not only are they liars, but they left the last piece of furniture in the middle of my living room floor. Very classy and professional! If I could give a lower score I would.
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT book with ALL MY SONS. If you do, ask for all the booking details and information on paper or email! They showed up to my apartment with all these additional charges that were not discussed over the phone and then put it back on me for them not sending me what we agreed on. BEWARE HIDDEN COSTS I've used this company twice trying to give them a second chance but it won't happen again. The first time I had them out just to unload a UHAUL and the guys were great. They unloaded quickly and were careful, etc. However, the guy on the phone confirmed with me the minimum labor cost was one hour. It took 20 minutes to unload my truck and that was fine except that when it came time to pay my bill I was told SURPRISE it was a two hour minimum so it cost me about $300 to get a handful of items unloaded ... read more
