To preface this review I will admit, the reviews scared me. I almost canceled after getting in over my head reading them and the horror stories. However, I am on a time crunch and start school in less than a few days and had to take the risk because I had a pretty big move and only a short time to do it. Didn't actually read all these reviews before hiring them, they just had a better date then the rest of the companies i called and were extremely cheaper. Turns out i MIGHT be lucky. 3 guys showed up bright and early on the scheduled day. Very professional. Moved everything i asked for from my 3 bedroom house. The move in was very smooth as well. I was less than satisfied overall by my experience. The three man crew, headed by Zac was excellent. They were courteous, careful and competent. The company's customer service and billing practices are another thing. First, i was promised a "first job" time slot, around 8:00 A.M. I called sometime after 10:00 asking about where they were. I was given a lame excuse that some of the guys had worked late into the night on the previous day, and apparently called out of work the next day. So we were moving and called All My Sons. These guys came to my home, moved all my stuff, joked around with my youngest daughter, helped me with locating my belongings. The guys name, that led the crew, was Matt. These 3 guys were all stars.

I only gave this business 3 stars because of the experience. Generally speaking the movers did an ok job. Considering that the guys they sent to help me move were on their 3rd job of the day, I found that they rushed putting together some of the items that required assembly. Most of the furniture I had did not need to be assembled and reassembled except the beds. Most of my stuff was just boxes. Before my move I turned to Yelp to read the reviews, they scared me tbh. Regardless I had already booked AMS and didn't have time to change it. I had booked AMS for a simple move 2 miles away, it was a Friday and it was snowing. I was greeted by 3 workers who were friendly. They started at 1250 and finished around 4ish. Decent experience with All my sons. Our basement was flooded and hence needed to move our belongings to a storage unit. Called on a Sunday and they were able to come the next day itself. They said they'd come between 10 and 11am. Got a call in the morning and they'd mentioned they were on the way. Ended up arriving around 11:15 to 11:30. Great experience. Hector, Joel, and Juan were wonderful; great positive attitudes, worked hard, helped me with some extra stuff. Awesome and I would totally use All My Sons again!!
