A first for me - they called to cancel 5 mins after they were supposed to arrive ON OUR MOVE OUT DATE, leaving us totally stranded and with few options. The guy who called seemed like he could not care less about the situation. Never had a worse and more stressful move out experience as a result. I would avoid at all costs!
My final price was triple my initial quote. I paid $1900 to move a ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT less than 30 miles. The movers were under the influence and made a comment about being uninsured. After receiving my itemized receipt, the labor charge was way over the actual hours worked, the movers sat in the parking lot after the move was complete for an hour and continued charging me. Zero Stars. I have moved many times and worked for different regional trucking companies over the years. When I called , I was very specific about having only 5 pieces of furniture and everything else I could move in my car if I had to. They sent a huge truck. I had to help lift boxes as they were too slow. My stuff wasn't secured and items were tipped over. Do not hire these guys they are disrespectful move like turtles don't care about your property and threaten me I almost got in a fight with them there rude they give you one Price then charge another you've been warned the owner or the boss does not care I reported all the workers for threatening me and making racial remarks he did nothing about it. If I didnt have to give stars I wouldnt. I was quoted for a 4 man team and only 3 came and 1 worked. They disregarded every requirement of my building for floor coverings (after a snow storm), cussed out my building staff, and only one man did the move. It took over 8 hours to pack the truck so we had to extend the move to a second day. This company is so unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. Showed up high and 3 hours earlier than scheduled. Told me I had to pay for the extra time and would not unload the truck unless I did. Broke the bottom of a king sized bed and damaged many other items. taking them to small claims court
From the very beginning our move went wrong. They had people call out so we didn't have enough movers. The guys complained the whole time and fought amongst themselves in front of us. My husband bought them lunch and came back and no one was moving furniture. They were at my house until 11:30 pm and my husband and myself started to help unload. WARNING. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS. Absolute worst movers you could possibly hire. I read some bad reviews on here but gave them the benefit of the doubt. DONT be like me, please go ANYWHERE else. So they call me a few days prior to reschedule to Friday instead of Saturday because they were very busy, and I happily agreed if it was easier for them. I could take a day off work for the move. Do not recommend this company. They will rip you off. They wait until 48 hours before to explain the additional charges they are going to charge. horrible communication skills.
