SCAM! Do not use!! They required a deposit and then 15 minutes prior to their arrival called to inform me that their staff did not show up due to inclement weather (rain). I was told that they were "working" on getting a crew and they would advise me of any progress. I was able to make other arrangements and called to let them know. I was informed that a credit would be issued. I immediately got another phone call and they said a crew would be there in another 2 hours. Now they claim I cancelled. Worst customer service ever. One of the movers was so unprofessional and rude. He came already in a bad mood and it just went downhill from there. It was obvious he didn't want to be there but how is that our fault? The other two movers were better. I had no issues with them but that one mover made the whole experience a nightmare. What we were told on the phone was inconsistent with what the movers were saying. The numbers didn't add up in the end but at that point, it was too much to deal with.
I will not use this company again. This was my 2nd move in 2 years and to compare- the first move was a 3 man team and was done in 3 hours (move out to move in) AND it was 1/2 of the price. I am reviewing 1 month after my move because I was not able to get settled in my new place until now. This is where I am seeing the issues. TLDR; Downtown Boston move, driver got in an accident, lied about location and road conditions, canceled on me twice, dont use!! I had used All My Sons previously and they did an overall decent job for the price. I live in downtown Boston so moving is expensive and I don't have that much stuff so I made the mistake of hiring them again. The day of the move they call me at 7:45 AM saying they're about 30 minutes away--right on time for their window! Terrible company!!!!!! I was quoted a price of $109/hr if i sent them a deposit. After sending a deposit, a date of 5/8 was selected. They did not show up! After rescheduling to 5/10, they would not honor that price, and told me the new price was $129/hr. What a scam!!!!!!!!!! They knew they had me as i could not find another mover for that day! I wrote them a letter dated 5/19 indicating my displeasure, and they never even wrote back!
If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional, rude and the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. If you want your furniture and all your belongings destroyed hire them. That is all they're good for.
I had All My Sons moving company aide me in moving, after getting all my items moved, under closer inspection I didn't see one piece of furniture left unscratched. And, I noticed I had a few items missing, such as a gold plated medal, an expensive bracelet, an Amazon Echo Dot, a seaI-a-meal with 2 rolls of bags and 10 fishing poles. Please keep in mind I am not pointing fingers or accusing All My Sons Moving of stealing, but multiple of my personal belongings have gone missing in their care or have been misplaced. You can enter any zip on their website, to discover later that "we don't service your area". Just lock the zips you don't service that will save everyone's time.
I had this company move me. During the moving into the new house, one of the movers called me to the staircase, and said that "they were having trouble moving something and did I know that there was a big hole in the wall?" He explained that there was a one foot square hole in the wall that was there before they started. I assured him that it wasnt there when they started. He insisted that it had been.
