Process was smooth and simple. I did not have a large move and was able to get an estimate over the phone within 15 minutes. We scheduled the date, being cheaper to do the move during the week, I picked a Wednesday. They said they would call me a few days prior. As expected they called me that Monday to let me know they were scheduled for Wednesday and what time they would arrive. They arrived right on time and then prepared for the move. We had a fabulous crew of movers headed by Philip. This was no small move. We had a total of five movers who worked steady for nine hours. They were moving all of our belongings to a new home. Not a scratch on the walls (either home). All the guys were a delight to be with and we (my wife and I) were with them the whole time. Where are all these bad reviews coming from? Hired this company very last minute, to move two second floor bedroom sets a chest freezer out of my basement, and a large gas grill to our new house an hour away from RI. They showed up within the time stated, our Driver Gerald and his two helpers, Randy and Terrance. They were quick, friendly, efficient and did a fantastic job of loading the truck......in a snowstorm......in less than 40 minutes. I used this company to move the contents of my 3000 sq foot home 6 miles to another home in the same town. I packed all of the boxes. I was not able to make arrangements until less than 3 weeks prior to move date and the details of my move were not solid regarding date and need for overnight storage. Deceptive. I reserved my move through the Attleboro office but was sent trucks from RI and was charged a $153 fuel surcharge for coming into MA. Mind you this move was within 5 miles of RI so the whole day couldn't have cost that much in fuel.
First I was shocked to see I had a fuel charge of $374.75 to move 6 miles!!! That's $62.46 per mile, to me that sounds outrageous to say the least. One of the three guys moving me was either sitting down texting or walking and text the entire time. I overhead the other two guys saying he was "useless" and "he should just stay out of the way". Awful. Used it last year and pretty much moved everything myself and got charged way more than necessary. I moved my belongings 2 miles down the street and got charged $900. I had to fight it because they were slow and inefficient, almost purposefully delaying to add time to the bI'll. DO NOT USE. They're awful.
Wouldn't recommend, added hidden fees that weren't specified in quote. I would use a different company if you are looking to move
Booked them less than a week before my move, and chose them because they had better pricing than anybody else; on Thursday before my move, I found out they run a bait-and-switch operation. The price I was told during the original estimate was WRONG, because he (a man named Vincent) told me that one hour drive time was included between my 1st location and my new location.
