Well I was under the impression I was going to b debt free in 3 years and it's going to b closer to 5 years now! I made payments to Americor for 8 months then was offered a loan to pay off all of the companies I enrolled in the program. I was told about what they thought they could settle my accounts for which was about half of what I owed. But what I didn't realize was the half they negotiated was how they get paid. I'm not saving much. I'm actually going to end up paying more.
I'm getting ads for them in my inbox, not not information on what's going on with my account. I already signed up for their services. I'm not getting any phone calls either. They're very knowledgeable, the individual I spoke with was very knowledgeable, very good on the phone.
Not helping, my debts have increased and my credit score is lower then before.
I just feel that I needed some financial help my credit is very good however high prices on all has buried
Really poor communication from the team, issues that were brought up were never really diagnosed/addressed. If not for my own persistent complaints/reaching out the issue would have not be discovered or addressed.
With the initial call, you're very much encouraged to sign up for the program. Afterwards, I considered my options and decided not to go that route. And cancelling was extremely difficult. Multiple times, I had to call in and tell them I didn't want to do this
No feedback calls or email nobody has any care to give
I have been you all close to 6 months. I was told I would see a little of improvement. So far only 1 account has been settled and another is being worked on. No one explained my accounts had to be charged off first. I am very disappointed because my credit score is horrible
