I was impressed with this Veterinarian's office. I have used several Veterinarians in the area for 40 years, and this newer group is professional, caring, empathetic, and spent a lot of time with us for evaluation and treatment for our 19 year old tabby Charlie. The cost was reasonable for the area. While Charlie got two more weeks of life taking the antibiotic they tried, when it came time for him to go over the bridge tye staff was so awesome. We had a excellent experience during our urgent care visit. The staff and doctor were not only friendly, they provided excellent care to our dog. What was so amazing was that the very next day we received a call from the office checking in to ask how our Shoshi was!! We have found our new veterinarian in Walnut Creek!
A wonderful vet that Walnut Creek is lucky to have!! We feel so so grateful to have come across this vet. I have no idea how Dr. Nakamura and staff manage such a busy location and still are able to accept emergency appointments - but I'm glad they do, because our cat Lily would not be here today if it weren't for ACH. Super friendly and helpful place. My previous vet was no good. Charged high price but never solve my puppy's problem. It was very frustrating. Animal care hospital solved my problem with the first visit all my question got answered. My puppy is healthy and happy again! Thank you so much!

Great first impression! I've worked in the veterinary field for the past couple of years and I am currently work at an emergency pet hospital, however due to their busy schedule, I decided to have my pup seen at a general practice rather than my place of work. I called them last minute and was able to get an appointment for my dog that injured his left back leg. They did an X-ray and examine him. Dr Nakamura was so nice and compassionate to my dog. The results of the X-ray came that afternoon and possible tear on ACL. The staff are very helpful. They also check a small lump on his elbow and it came benign. Will definitely recommend this place before going to SAGE.
