Please excuse the crummy picture. But I’m warning everybody about this clinic in particular. These people don’t know what they ’re doing. Aside to dentist tearing up my mouth in 2019, they are now trying to charge me for something that they’ve billed wrong in 2015. Mind you that meanwhile I had received a refund check for 160 some odd dollars about two years ago. First their inexperienced tech ripped my mouth all to hell and then they refused to clean my teeth. They wanted to do a deep root clean which is pricey. ($1200 with insurance)I would love to get one but I haven’t worked in six months thanks to the pandemic so I’m cash strapped. I was hoping to use my insurance to get a regular cleaning but they refused to do it because I “need a deep cleaning.” So I paid the $40 copay and got absolutely nothing out of it. There are some positives about this office, but overall I would have to caution against using Aspen Dental overall. The first issue is the pressure they put on you in the office. I was told I had periodontal disease, something that surprised me as I've always had decent oral hygiene. In order to combat this and not lose my teeth (a concern they stressed multiple times), I would need to do a full cleaning that can take up to two hours three times a year. Just disgusted how companies take advantage of the senior population!! Aspen dental on 185th created a $12,220.00 treatment plan for my mom and because she couldn't pay that the loan officer for that office helped her apply for a line of credit..mom was only approved for $6000.00.. now hold that thought.. while my mom was repetitively asking "so will this cover everything and my payment won't be more the 80.00?" being this was her big concerns.. the woman assures her and proceeds to get my moms signature and treatment begins... read more
The office staff is lovely. Too bad it can’t make up for a horrible dentist with a shoddy bedside manner.
Aspen Dental is a scam. Husband went to get dentures and was told if he used our insurance it would only be $10 less than not using insurance. Scammers!
