Still unhappy w/Aspen Dental Beaverton experience - beware and look at other reviews. It's been about 2 years since I selected Aspen Dental because they were listed as Approved Provider under an employer insurance plan. After making an initial appointment, I looked at posted reviews - each of the negative points presented in reviews were true. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Let me state my case. I had a tooth extracted two weeks ago. They took X-rays and the dentist went over it with me. He told me I needed the tooth extracted and then I had two options, do a bridge or a partial denture. He said the third option is for an implant. He spent time pushing for the first two options because he said he can do those. In the the meantime, he suggested I get a temporary partial dental to wear. My wife and I the worst dental experience there . They only got one star because I cannot give no or negative stars . From the waiting to the treatment , to the rude pushy guy with the ever fluctuating estimate . They have no specialists on site , and a lot of " i don't know " from the dentist. They did NOT verify our insurance. They were very unorganized. It felt more like buying a crappy used car from a sleazy salesman. All I can say is BEWARE. I was referred out for a root canal.....the dentist Dr Sing did the incorrect tooth. When the numbness dissipated I continued to have a tooth ache. Needless to say to the tune of $649.00 I ended up going to a dentist my hair stylist referred me to. After almost two weeks in pain. The new dentist did the root canal on the tooth with the hole in it. If I could give no stars I would. BEWARE!

Patient beware! There appears to be a complete disconnect between what you book your appointment for, and what you actually get. I called to book a cleaning because I have moved and need a new dentist . Good news! They have weekend appointments! Well I get here this morning and guess what? They don't do cleanings in the weekends. Because I am a new patient the call center only booked me for an exam (WITHOUT telling me), even though I called them to book a cleaning. My third visit included two filling, and a cleaning and only took 45 minutes. Everyone I've talked to says a cleaning alone should take 45 min or more. Definitely felt like they were rushing me because I was the last patient of the day, and they wanted to leave. My second visit also included two fillings and a cleaning, but that one took longer (I was one of the first patients), the problem, however, was when the dentist (a young Indian woman) was taking the drill out of my mouth when she was finished, she didn't turn it of... read more

I am reviewing on my experience with the customer service team. I called in order to find out what their costs are for patients like myself without dental insurance (paying cash out of pocket) and they outright refused to tell me what the costs would be for a specific procedure (molar composite filling). I would not go to a dentist who lacks the transparency to tell me how much I would pay for a specific procedure prior to me sitting in the dental chair.

This is the worst Dental Clinic I have ever been to. I had a horrible experience. Please read. 1. This is the worst part. The 'manager' coaxed me to get 4 extractions instead of the only 1 that I needed. When I told him I can just get the two on right side removed he said 'dentists usually do the top or bottom' which was totally false. Later dentist told me that its perfectly ok to do one side at a time! DO NOT GO HERE! Dr. Shah is a crook. They misrepresent procedures, insurance estimations, and how they apply payments... All while you're suffering in pain. They will say your bill is zeroed out in person and give you a refund, then send you a bill in the bill to take money back. Their accountants are slow and lazy when it comes to dealing with insurers. They will charge you for something you both agreed to return and then they will illegally keep the insurance benefit. They are being reported to the BBB and Attorney General... read more
