Credit Karma needs to dissociate IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS Intuit Credit Karma member Predatory and dishonest experience. Promises low rates on pre-approval only to hard pull your credit a few times and decline your loan application right away. Feels like a scam to get personal information.
SCAM!! A total SCAM!! Credit Karma should be ashamed for allowing this company to lure people in.
Zero stars is more appropriate. Total SCAM Run away! I have an outstandiing credit score. Saw the "pre-approval" offer on Credit Karma and thought I would look into it. When I actually went through the process over the course of 24 hours after seeing the original offer of a lower interest rate and payment, that offer suddenly did not exist. The rep that I spoke with from AutoPay was also incredibly rude when I tried to ask questions. Not what advertised, don’t fall for it Apply because they seemed to offer a lower APR than my current loan.Very fast reply and a call I couldn’t answer right away, saying they got me “a great approval”! An immediate hard hit on my credit and when i spoke with their person (she was polite) over the phone, the real rate they would offer was higher than my current one. Total waste of my time and a hard hit on my credit to pay for their lie.
Aggrieved by their anti-consumer practice Feeling aggrieved by the experience with Autopay. Firstly, interest rate advertised on credit karma was grossly exaggerated. However it still seemed to make sense to save a small amount on interest. During process at no point was it explained to me that their would be an exorbitant fee included with the change of bank/ financier. Terrible Terrible service, Solomon did not return calls or text messages. Lied about saying he called several times when there were no missed calls. After finally talking he has no offer written up and had already checked my credit. Said he would contact me with an offer later Why would it take so long? Getting a mortgage was easier than dealing with this company.
Legal Loan Sharks At first they told me I wouldnt qualify because of the age of my vehicle. 3 days later they said I have an approved loan. They then offered me 13.8% over 75 mos with 3000.00 down. I laughed and told them Bye! Legal Loan sharking.
Misleading & Poor Business Practice Ran hard check on credit for a “pre-approval” then could not tell me a rate. Salesperson Daniel said I was being hostile when I asked why I couldn’t see this already and then told me he would not be able to get anywhere near the rate CK advertised. Closed my application without confirming.
Don’t use this company. Horrible company to do business. They are asking over 50 percent down on a refinance. Shame on Credit Karma for advertising this company.
