Don’t Trust the Advertised Rate Really frustrating experience with AutoPay Direct. Once we put in our vehicle’s VIN our address and information, their rate was the lowest of all competitors. We picked our preferred number of months and APR and started the application. We were approved quickly and got a followup call from them to “go over the numbers”. Awful! Try Caribou instead Awful! I “accepted” an offer for a good rate. I was given the runaround for several days before being told the actual offer was much higher. I have used these type of services before with great results. Autopay is the worst one yet by far. I recommend Caribou as I have used them several times before and will be using them again. They actually get you the rate they advertise instead of illegal bait and switch like Autopay engages in.
Don’t waste your time and harm your credit They showed an estimate of 4.9% interest rate and they when I applied, they changed it to 8.9%. Even higher than my current loan! I have high income with excellent credit score. This was a waste of time
Horrible business process. This seems like a scam. They gave me a proposal over the phone and tried to pressure me into agreeing, saying that the lender will only hold the offer that day. I told them to send the information and details of what I was about to agree with in writing and they said they can't do that. That I need to agree before getting anything. HOW CAN YOU AGREE TO A CONTRACT WITHOUT READING IT? While the company may be legit, everything makes you think it's a scam. Otherwise they will be a lot more transparent... read more
Dubious snake oil! Dubious practices. Website says you can refi a 2016. So I thaw my credit. They do hard inquire then tell me my vehicle is too old. Find any credit union and you're better off. Also would not tell you a rate. Feel fully violated. I honestly think creditkarma is a scam too!
bent over good.... Yes they lowered my payment but instead of letting 37,000 on a car that carvana sold me I now owe 41,000 but, all in all the process was easy and to be suckered into.
Scammers!!!! Horrible scammers. They destroy your credit with hard pulls, then deny, meanwhile still send emails stating they can lower my loan!
Worst Worst lender . Never came up to the percent advertised. Always teasing with low prices
Scam- Do not use This place is an absolute scam. The application you fill out online is a shame. It shows you numbers, then someone calls you and dismisses the numbers online. They then ask to do a hard pull on your credit before talking estimated numbers, or letting you know who they are going to send the loan information to. When I told the guy to not do a hard pull unless he would give me this information I asked above. He hung up on me
