WELCOME TO AVON ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Our practice in Avon, Indiana was founded in 1976. Dr. Robert McDonough joined the practice in 1989, Dr. Kevin Stockton in 1996, Dr. Gabriel Hostalet in 2005, and Dr. Jared Shelton in 2017. The owner moved the practice from downtown Indianapolis to Avon in 1981. Our Oral Surgery building is a state-of-the-art facility with seven surgical suites, a recovery room, and three consultation rooms.

Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make the patients comfortable. Same goes for the Dentist! I would highly recommend them!
Definitely a Grade A+++ facility. Everything about this place from the receptionist to the surgeons is excellent. My oral surgeon was Dr Jared Shelton whom I highly recommend.
Our surgical technician was amazing & made my daughter's 1st medical procedure & 1st IV, go so smoothly. My only complaint is the Dr spent less than 1 minute with us & we did not see him again after 4 wisdom teeth were extracted. I'd have rather talked to the Dr afterwards rather than being told to read the discharge summary. I had to call the after hours # due to a pharmacy mix up & my call back was prompt & meds were ordered quickly.
these guys are the best. I just had a tooth extracted and I don't remember any of it. go to these guys with confidence! they rip out your teeth out with love and care. I cannot recommend High enough.

My 5 year old had to have 2 teeth extracted and we were both a little nervous. From the moment we walked in it was a great experience! Everyone was super friendly and the procedure went smooth and fast. The staff were extremely kind and professional. I definitely would recommend them 😊

I'm on my second implant performed by AOMS and they have been great to work with. They answer all your questions ahead of time and follow up post op to make sure you have a good implant experience.
Thank you to all that helped my 5 year old today. She really loves going to the dentist. She calls it her spa day. You all were great and quick. She is doing great. Definitely would come back.
