The staff on administration and the director and staff on the 4th floor are the bomb i just can't praise them enough like Dallion and Lindsay are the bomb
During a very traumatic time in our lives Maria Martinez has been an answered prayer for our family. With my brother's accident, we were required to put him in a center like this. With her, we have a little more peace of mind. She cares for him as if he was her family too. My sister in law is able to have some more of a routine to her life knowing that Maria is there for her husband making sure both medical needs and emotional needs are being attended to. We know he is smiling if she's with him.
Maria is amazing. She is on top of her game. She is kind and compassionate. She takes care of all residents like her own family.
Most of the workers are good Alexa, Pablo etc., but Maria Martine is the star of the fourth floor . Thank you Maria for taking care of my nephew with a lot of patience.
María Martínez is one of the best nurses at balboa nursing home. She is very caring, sweet, loving and always prioritizes her patients well being. She always makes my mother feel comfortable and enjoys her company. Thank you so much Maria!
As a family member that currently has 2 loved ones residing at Balboa Nursing & Rehab, I have to say this building looks completely different than what it did just 2-3 years ago. The new amenities and reconstruction look great, and give the building such a nice curve appeal inside and out. My family members have been in and out of many facilities within the San Diego area, but have stayed at Balboa the longest. I had an excellent experience at Balboa, with a fabulous CNA, Gaby, who stood out from the others with her care for each of her patients. The Physical Therapists were very knowledgeable and helpful. The Occupational Therapists were also very helpful getting me ready to go home after six and a half weeks. The staff were helpful as well, with a daily smile and knowledgeable information.
