As a family member that currently has 2 loved ones residing at Balboa Nursing & Rehab, I have to say this building looks completely different than what it did just 2-3 years ago. The new amenities and reconstruction look great, and give the building such a nice curve appeal inside and out. My family members have been in and out of many facilities within the San Diego area, but have stayed at Balboa the longest. I had an excellent experience at Balboa, with a fabulous CNA, Gaby, who stood out from the others with her care for each of her patients. The Physical Therapists were very knowledgeable and helpful. The Occupational Therapists were also very helpful getting me ready to go home after six and a half weeks. The staff were helpful as well, with a daily smile and knowledgeable information. The food is not worth talking about. Order in! Paige

I spent two weeks here at balboa after a minor surgery and it was the best experience!, The staff is so nice and caring such as my nurse Tae. He was so caring and very attentive to any concerns I had. I would recommend it to everyone i know !
