I wish I could rate this with zero stars. After walking through the whole story at a baby step pace, we were finally acknowledged by a man sweeping the floor. A lady was telling him that she won't help him clean because that wasn't her job. In a customer service business, they should have been better at doing their jobs. I will not be going back to this store.

Black Friday ad was misleading. We are wanting to buy a bed set and see the ad that says we can get a 7" Samsung Galaxy tablet for a purchase over $599--See store for details. I read some of the bad reviews but I hope for the best so I can get the tablet. We walked in the store mad were pleased with how fancy the furniture was. Customer Service doesn't exist in this place. I've been trying to resolve an issue with this place since March over goods that were delivered damaged. I called the place the same day and I'm still here (in August) trying to fix this issue. I don't even want the furniture anymore...bad customer service. Their voicemail is always full and it's hard to get them to call you back. If you're looking for bad customer service, this is the place!

I don't even want to give this store a one star. We ordered and paid for bunk beds for our son. We ordered them on April 30th. A week and one day ago we had a delivery date set, well they didn't show. I waited at home until 4:30pm for them to show, I than called them and they said they wouldn't be there because I didn't confirm. I never was told I needed to confirm. Well we rescheduled for the following Tuesday. At 1:30pm they called me and stated they couldn't get one of the delivery people on base. What really made me mad ... read more

I'm new in the area and received a flyer in the mail for Bel. I was flipping through it and noticed a very nice cherry desk. The house that I was building has a study and I though it would look nice it there. So we put the address in the GPS and went to find the store. I was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks. I should have listened to the reviews in regards to customer service however I have experienced first hand that by far this furniture experience is not pleasant.This has got to be the worst customer buying experience ever. I would recommend that no one steps in this store expecting to get quality and or superb customer service from the customer service representatives or the store manager Ed because you will not receive your money's worth for anything in this San Antonio location. We were just pleased as punch after we finally made our decision to go with Bel Furniture. Our sales associate was just friendly and helpful. She lacked a little on the intelligence, but I figured furniture sales is not rocket science. We purchased a living room and dinning room set along with several tables and paid for it. She promised a two to three week delievery window. Which fit our plans really good. I purchased a dining room table on the 3rd of Oct 2011. I still have not recieved it. I received a message today that it was not available and I would have to make another selection that they would hold my store credit for 30 days. I have tried to call many many times with no luck and forget about talking to the manager he is always in a meeting. I am VERY disappointed with this store. They had great labor day sales BUT nothing was in stock. I needed a dinette asap and i was told that every set I looked at had to be ordered and would take a week. A week. Ok. I could wait a week. At the 1 week+1day point, I called to find out if my table was in - NOPE! They told me the following week. Its now been 4 weeks and I still have no table!!
