Inspection performed and no sticker put on. Had to drive back the next day. Seat was altered in every way possible and left that way. Entertainment screen totally altered for no reason. Not impressed with Berlin City.
I got a flat and needed an oil change. After driving off once my service was done, my tire warning light flashes. I call, drive back, they check the pressure, reset the warning light and said everythings ok. Next day I notice my oil meter still says low. I call again, they walk me through how to reset the meter. I start driving on the highway and my tire light goes on again and car starts making a weird noise. My partner checks tires and notices the nuts were loose on the new tire they put on.
Pricing to replace exhaust manifold spring bolts (2) and gasket was excessive. Parts $128.69 plus "shop supplies" (what is that?) at $43.34 and labor at $232.49 are all beyond reasonable.
The mechanic recommend several service suggestions for unnecessary maintenance. he recommended replacement for an item that was not broken. I got a second opinion on all items and nothing needs to be done
So Ive had fantastic service here and really bad service. After waiting 15 minutes, my service rep asked me what I was in for; I made an appointment with specific services so I would think theyd know. Oil change, tire rotation and the usual complementary services (multipoint inspection, state inspection and fluid top off). I was told approx $99 but ended up stating my previous quoted price of $19.99 oil change and $14.99 tire a few hours earlier. No multipoint inspection report..
For the second time in 2 appointments, the tire light came on after driving about 20 miles following the appointment. I checked my tires and realized none of the caps were put on the valves. I brought it back and was told that they forgot to recalibrate/reset. He put caps on the tires and all set. I thought. Low tire pressure light came on again the next day. I was heading out of town and was worried something was wrong. Called Honda service and Chris was both apologetic and helpful.
Made an appointment for 2Pm for an expection sticker not out until 4:30
Disappointed experience and this service advisors approach. No doubt he works on some type of commission platform and wanted to sell me extra service without the ability to really explain why I needed it. He was rude and condescending. Also disappointing to receive an email today telling me I am overdue for an oil change because he didnt enter my visit in correctly. I did have an oil change and tire rotation yet.. this was the reason for my visit! Yet it doesnt show here on the car fax.
2 for service. quality of work, seems to be fine. I think work wasn't started until 2 and 1/2 hrs. after I arrived. Wheel bearing needed my approval; I was in ladies room. They sent email and called home. I was right there. Finally home 2:30. Left home 8:30 for 1 1/2 appt. Better communication would be my vote. see above; rating 2.
