We used Better to do a refinance of our home. The rates and lender credits were more competitive then refinancing with our current lender ****** ********. The online experience was smooth and our rep ****** was always available to answer questions and address issues/concerns we had. We did 2 refinances with Better.com. within a 5 month time span. The loan officer provided us with various options to buy down the rates or take advantage of lender credits. Unlike other lenders, there were absolutely NO GAMES. The whole process was relaxed with no pressure. The streamlined online portal worked flawlessly. All information was downloaded and sent via my laptop and scanner / printer. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that I encountered was top notch, very professional and caring from start to finish.
Recently, I did refinance my primary home mortgage with Better. They made my Refinance experience a memorable one by providing prompt, efficient, and professional advice throughout the process. From beginning to end, Better couldn't have made the process any easier. I shopped around. They had the best rates and the best closing time. Their system is highly automated. If you never want to talk to someone, you don't have to. If you want to, they're incredibly accessible. Their portal is very self explanatory and automated. I can't think of anything they could do better. Thanks for an easy experience.
Solid online platform, very competitive rates, people were available quickly to answer questions and talk on the phone, and they never had the used car salesman attitude that other mortgage companies have. It was like - this is a mortgage.
Better gave me the best rate and everything I could have asked for from a customer service standpoint. They were flexible and worked hard to take care of problems when they arose. What more could I want or even expect from a lender?
My experience was shockingly painless, and the rates/fees were rock-bottom to boot. I absolutely plan on recommending to friends and family. Do make sure, however, you are getting their lowest advertised rates -- the ones they list on ******** and ****** are lower than the ones on the Better website. Ask your loan officer to match before you lock.
