Toni was an amazing waitress. Hands down the best I've ever had. Food was great and she made my experience of being at big boys for the first time the best ever. She'll know who I am if you mention this, but she deserves everything for doing a great job and treating us like family, even when we are strangers. Thank you Toni

Service has always been good. Always clean. Food has been served hot typically fast and good. It's Big Boy and some of the dinners come pre portioned and are heat and serve. The shrimp dinner is a great value for sure.

It's Big Boy. You pretty much know what you're going to get when you see the chunky guy on the sign. The food was decent and the table was clean when we sat down. What bumped this Big Boy above the average was our server. She hustled without making us feel rushed, conversed with us without being overbearing, never let our glasses get empty and didn't made us wait for the bill. We drive through Gaylord frequently and will return.

Tried this spot out for breakfast this morning and I will definitely be coming back next time I am in the area!! The food was amazing, the service was good, and the place was really nice and cozy.

We have come here a few times when traveling through Gaylord Michigan. We have always had great food and service here. We have had the same gentleman help us on all three stops here. He reminds me of a pirate (Earring) for a lack of better description. His name has slipped my mind, however I wanted to give him a good review! Shandalynn our server and manager Max were awesome! The chicken and waffles were excellent the maple syrup had great flavor the fried fish was very good. The banana cream pie was top-tier as Shandalynn said. Even the music selection was great. No way is this a two star restaurant I'm giving them five!

Well it does vary from restaurant to restaurant, the quality of food ,service , and even choices on the menu. Some things on the menu this restaurant did not honor--Senior specials. We went to Gaylord and the service was so-so. We were there with a group of 9. Ordered an omelette not brown at all and so the cook turned into inside out where the brown part was inside. We stopped here for coffee and dessert while on our way home from watching the Elks at the local park. Our service was good manager was kind and of course how can you ruin a dessert?.

Just had breakfast and wanted to offer a suggestion but none of the staff asked me how my meal was, so I'll offer them here. I ordered a farmers omelette. The hash browns were great, the omelette less so. There was very little cheese in the omelette and it was rather bland without. Also, the onions need to be better cooked. Some of them appeared to be raw. So, add some cheese and saute the onions better and then we're talking lol
