$1300 wasted. My stop start stopped working. They said it would be $425 for a new battery plus $900 for a new door handle. The handle, they explained, was draining the battery. I drove off and guess what? The stop/start still doesn’t work.
Worst car purchasing experience ever The worst car buying experience I have ever had. Purchased a a 2018 BMW 430ix mineral white convertible delivered to me from BMW of Ashville. They told me it had not been in an accident and after receiving the car and noticing the front bumper sensors were not working, it was clear that it had been in a front end accident with overspray everywhere underneath the front end. Oh and the car was filthy inside and out, no dealer prep or detail done. Pre and Post sales communication was horribl... read more
Sold a car out from underneath me Spent days working on pricing, trade in and setting up an appointment to buy a car from their website. On the day before as I filled out all the credit information I was then called by the Manager saying the car was already sold - despite the fact I had been talking g to the 6 hours earlier in the day!!
Overpriced service I called ahead to find out how much new brake fluid cost. “$120 plus tax,” the service department lady said. I made an appointment. It wound up costing $203. What they don’t tell you is they charge $60 to reset your dash. A tax by any other name.
Angry and misled Do not expect to be treated fairly if you are purchasing and wanting to get fair value for your trade in. They offered me way below Kelly Blue Book value for a dealer trade in value and about one half of what their web site indicated . I felt cheated and misled and left angry. Taking my business elsewhere in the future. Greenville and Charlotte are not that far away!
Dishonest and sleazy sales department I was set up to purchase a used BMW convertible. Jack Rowland was my salesman. We had settled on a reasonable price, and I was approved for financing. The car was sold and all that needed to be done, was to have the car and paperwork shipped to Ohio. Instead, Jack Rowland and the sales manager, Mark Miller chose to sell the car out from under me on the day my sale was finalized. Mark Miller then proceeds to call me and try to feed me a line of excuses and lies. If that unprofessional stu... read more
Deceived I would caution strongly against anyone who takes their vehicles in for service at Bmw Asheville. Approximately two years ago when our BMW X5 started having issues Just under 40,000 miles, we brought it into the Bmw o Asheville For service. We noticed that there is smoke coming out of the exhaust and we were having to put in almost 1 quart of oil into the engine every two weeks before the oil indicator would come on. We were told "that's what these big engines do quote and it is completely normal. Over the next two ... read more
They lied and never even lifted the hood. I live in a small town without a BMW dealership so drove 2 hours for a scheduled $150 assessment. I’ve had water leak problems and check engine lights were coming on intermittently. They said I had a torn vapor barrier in my front passenger door, needed a new battery, and needed engine light reprogramming among other things (total around $2000 repairs). Something felt off about the whole experience so I left. Drove to another town to an independent German Auto place. My vapor barrier... read more
beware of "recommended services" I moved to Asheville from upstate New York six weeks ago. Before making the drive, I took my car to my usual independent repair shop, had the car checked over and had $2,000+ of necessary repairs completed. I brought my car to BMW of Asheville for the first time last week to have two recalls repaired. While my car was in the shop I received a text message from BMW of Asheville stating that “there are service updates on your vehicle that require your attention.
