Just got our second 335i sedan from Passport BMW. We didn't intend to replace our '07 until a year from now, but (no fault on the part of Passport) our high-pressure fuel pump recently had to be replaced for the FOURTH time. The 07's had a problem in this area. It just so happened that we had an inordinate number of near failures. Each time, they came and got the car, brought us a BMW loaner and then drove the car back to us when the work was completed. From the time you walk in the door you will find men and women who go out of their way to help you. I've gotten two cars from them and they have gone above and beyond to give me the best service. If I have ever needed anything or had a question they always call me back and do what they can to help. I could not see me getting a car from any other dealership outside the passport family.
Tom Foster was great. Never even went to the deal--worked out everything--and signed papers at home. Took delivery at home. VERY easy. Third car I have leased from Passport in the last decade. All from Tom Foster. prices have been competitive, and the service has been excellent. Totally pain free.
Even though I live much closer to another BMW Dealer I decided to give Passport a try since I had heard really great things about them. The entire process from start to finish was terrific. Super experience with sales and delivery -- special thanks to Jeff for working with us a couple of years ago (but decided not to buy then) and this time with Greg Parker. Greg was personable, helpful, responsive, and most importantly not pushy. He went to great effort to deliver the vehicle as a surprise for my wife -- taking time from his off day to do so. If your service turns out to be as good as the buying experience this will be a great car and relationship.
This was my first time buying a BMW. I live out of Northern VA and a recent college grad. I did a lot of research and found that this dealership had the best deals for certified pre-owned. I found the car I was looking for (2006 325xi) for a good price, but there was some scratches on the car and on the leatherette driver seat. I agreed to buying this car if all these were fixed. I bought two cars from Ed Han this year. Both times it was a pleasure. Dealing with Ed and his manager was very open and straightforward. During price negotiations, Ed never disappeared and left me waiting to "talk to his manager". Actually, when I bought the first car, I was able to talk to the sales manager himself. I came to Passport by accident. I used to dislike BMWs, the image they conveyed, etc...However, my brother was looking for a car and was very close to buying one at BMW of Arlington but I encouraged him to "think about it" for a couple of hours because something just did not feel right (besides the fact that the car proposed by BMW Arlington was not quite what he wanted and that he would be settling).
