I brought my 2005 BMW525 in for service directly from the car wash do to vibrations at speeds above 50mph. After inspection, the technician showed me the two rear tires steel belts separated internally and began to cut through the tread. told me the tires were in stock, then told me it shouldnt take that long for them to receive it, its been 1 month. no sign of tires. they scratched the wheels while removing tires... they get in to the car with greasy/oil hands and make sure they leave their marks
Initially upon buying my car, they were very helpful and friendly upon getting my paperwork finalized for a used car. But soon i would find out that their follow-up customer service is not as good as sales. First let me mention the numerous times that I have been out there to get little items fixed on my car. 03/18/10,I went to BMW to fix my air conditioner.It was blowing not getting cool. Ray Fry told me, freon ran out of the air conditioning.I was charged $225. I went to this dealership to buy a used CPO vehicle I found from the bmwusa site. They flatly refused to honor the price and jacked up the price by 4 K when i wanted to buy the vehicle. David , the CPO director is one of the rudest car salesman I have dealt with. I already own BMWs and Lexuses, these guys are definitely not getting my business.
I bought a 2009 Audi from Mehrzad whom I found friendly but ill informed and without any authority to get things done. I requested instructions to wire transfer the funds to their bank account from Canada. The instructions were incomplete. After several calls I was transferred to a general sales manager, J. I went in for service (with an appointment) and stayed over 5 hours with no one updating me on the service. They caused me to have to get a cab to take my daughter to the Airport. They reimbursed me for the cab fare only after I contacted BMWUSA and made it right. I thought that was just a bad incident and gave them another chance because I needed a second car. Just purchased a 2007 used car (not a BMW) two weeks ago. The sales person said the car I purchased had a navigation system in the vehicle (had the screen and other components) but it wasn't working at the time I drove the vehicle because the enabling code was missing. They said that only I (as the owner) would have to take the car to the appropriate manufacturers dealer to get the code, which I did. We just traded in our relatively new BMW purchased from Passport BMW. Sadly, we found out some very disturbing facts about the BMW Extended Service Contract and the BMW Extended Maintenance Plan that Passport sold to us. First off, when sold the car, Passport attempted to sell us a third party extended warranty without informing us that it wasn't actually a true BMW factory warranty.
