I saw an ad for a BMW on the internet on December 2nd. This car had no photos posted so I made an inquiry about the car online and later on JC the manager called me and told me this car is being inspected and getting ready for showroom. He said he will call me as soon as this car is ready so I can go take a test drive. He never did( what was I thinking? Honesty!!!). I bought a used car from Passport with the remainder of the factory warranty. They sold the car to me stating there were no accidents. It turns out there was extensive bodywork done to the car that is now falling apart. They are telling me they are not responsible. Time for lawyers to get involved. Stay away from this dealership.
Jeff Steel is a finance manager that is very disrespectful and dishonest. He will lie to your face and get an attitude as if you are the one lying. I would stay away from Passport BMW until they realize how unethical Jeff is and take appropriate action to terminate his employment. Do not buy anything from Jeff and if possible just skip Passport all together. There are plenty of good people out there to deal with, no need to go through the same pain as I did with Jeff and Passport.
The review is of the SERVICE. Sales experience was great and I consider coming back. The service has deteriorated significantly over 6 years. I was extremely disappointed this summer. After discussing a Certified BMW with the salesman, I drove 120 miles to test drive it. Should have asked if they will negotiate on prices. Car seemed okay but the salesman said all prices are non-negotiable (which I don't believe is accurate). I think he figured he could drill me since I'd driven so far to see the car and would be invested in it. I walked away,
Horrible Customer Service! Sales people and business manager lie and use bait in switch techniques to get you to buy a car. Absolute worse sales experience I've ever had with a dealership. Family has been buying cars from them for over 15 years and will never buy a car from them again. Also, service people are very unreliable and don't know what they are doing! Read all the reviews before you go! NO one likes passport BMW!
My experience with Passport BMW started out just fine but quickly turned sour. I visited this dealership after searching online for local dealerships. Salesman did not allow any negotiations below MSRP markup. Dealer invoice 10% above fair price. Customer will pay 4-6k above fair price. BMW manfacture rebates to consumer were applied to offer before reaching a fair deal. Buyer beware.
