This dealership charged me additional $400 in titles fee AFTER THE FINAL PRICE WAS AGREED IN WRITTING. Was able to get through general manager Greg Pugh ( which was really nice of him to find time for me ) but his answer was the same- regardless of what you have agreed with your sales rep Tu Huynh you still need to pay these $400. Also the car was far from description " very good condition " i understand its used car and cannot be perfect but following facts made clear for me what kind of people they are: 1. on a test drive ... read more

Alek, Thank you for your comments on Dealer Rater. It is important to communicate effectivley as well as properly manage expectations. Your concerns are important to me but in the interest of fairness, your accusations are without merit. The vehicle you purchased was a 2004 model with in excess of 85,000 miles on it. This vehicle had the typical wear and tear that would be consistant with a 7 year old vehicle with this mileage and there was no attempt to misrepresent the condition. The far more serious matter that concerns m... read more
I bought my car at the end of june and i didnt receive all of my paper work until the 1st of septmeber.I should have received all of my paperwork within 30 days after my purchase on the car. Had i not emailed this salesman upon my temporary tags expiring, who knows, i would probably still be waiting to hear from him! Its pretty sad that i had to get on him about getting my stuff together. And he had me doing stuff for him, stuff he should of already had. Im not the car salesman, i shouldn't of had to do anything after i boug... read more

Darcy, Thank you for your input. I agree that the registration paperwork for your car took much longer that any of us expected. As a Virginia dealer, we are happy to handle the tag, title and registration paperwork in other states. In this case, your state of Ohio requested specific information and VIN verification from you before they would complete the registration. We had many back and forth e-mails about this and had some issues sending and receiving the information that the Ohio DMV requested. Often we do not know speci... read more
Visited the dealership to discuss renewing or purchasing my leased BMW (which I had leased from this same dealership). Met with Mr. Tu Huynh and when I asked about this he said he was the middle man and couldn't help me. His title is Client Advisor. I walked across the street and went to Mercedes-Benz and received a very professional client service. I called BMW about turning in my leased car because he couldn't or wouldn't answer my basic questions about renewal - I did received very helpful information from the 800 number ... read more
Dena Van, the Service Rep is a RIP OFF!!!. She overcharged for services. The Thermostat for a 2003 BMW Costs $56.00. They were charging me over $850.00 to put this in. She is a SNAKE. I called the manager. He reduced it by only $150.00. When I called her. She was very Rude and Short because I got a discount. DON'T USE HER OR THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICES. My advice is go find out what they say the car needs and go online an purchase the part yourself. After that have some other establishment do the work. Not BMW of Alexandria,... read more
I had a flat tire on my 330 ci on the beltway late Friday night. I made it to Alexandria but it was obvious the tire was gone and I would likely need a new rim as well. I usually use BMW-Sterling but b/c I was in Alexandria - I called the Service Department at BMW-Alexandria. At 8:30, I left a message as instructed with my phone number. No one returned my call. I called again at 1:00 p.m. and the receptionist connected me with the Servcie Department - it rant over 30 times - (I could hear her reconnecting me each time the al... read more
My most recent purchase of a new car from BMW of Arlington was HORRENDOUS! The car had issues from before we even drove off the lot, their attempts to fix them created more issues and for the first 24 days we owned the car, they had it for 21 of them. We are still trying to make the car right after six long weeks and throughout this ordeal the dealership has been the singular worst business I have ever had to deal with. I should add that the decision to file this complaint was not arrived at easily. I have worked with this d... read more
I'm reading all of these great comments however, I did not have a good experience at BMW Arlington. I visited this dealership, after visiting three (3) others on the same day, to purchase a car. I had my own financing and had every intention of purchasing a car. I test drove a car, just to drive, but I didn't like the color. I returned on Wednesday to test drive the black/black and was told that it was in the paint shop and would be ready by Friday. I received a call from my sales person at 10 am telling me that he was off t... read more
On 8/11/2009 I ordered and paid for a new sun vison with the service departments as part of some other service I was having performed. As of today, that sun visor has not been received or installed. After serveral calls to the service avisor, Steven Reinard, who repeatedly being state "it would be delivered to the dealership the next monday and to stop by and we'll install it and I'll give you a call". No call, no visor ever happened. I have called him at least 5 time since August 2009 and he has never called me to let me kn... read more
I would steer clear of this dealership if at all possible. We moved to DC and this seemed to be the closest dealership for service. My wife has a 2003 325xi and it seemed that the "washer fluid" light was always on- no big deal, but just annoying. We took the car in for its regularly scheduled service and alerted them to the problem. I got a call later in the day saying that the waher sensor was broken in the engine compartment and that it would need to be replaced to the tune of $80 dollars. When I picked up the car the nex... read more
