Dr. Kotlus is very skillful and experienced. He kept asking if I have any questions or doubt about the surgery. The surgery process and recovery went better than expected. Almost no problems at all other than administrative glitch during payment (my credit card was blocked for the whole duration of holiday due multiple payment attempts from same international merchant) and prescription pick up. His assistant, Marisa, is also very helpful and responsive. I am fully recovered about 1.5 months and look much fresher than before. ... read more

So...I have had this excruciatingly sad journey of trying to fix the wrinkles/bags/crepiness under my eyes for a while now. In my prior post I discuss how I had restylane under my eyes for 9 years, had it dissolved, was mortified by the skin I was left with after, then stupidly had juvederm injected, then ended up having that dissolved too because it turned blue and puffy. Now, a year later I go the Dr Kotlus for a consultation for surgery. He was very nice and helpful, we discussed my options. Surgery or filler would be nee... read more

For about 3 years I have been very unhappy with the way I looked because of undereye bags and dark circles. I decided to do something about it. I did research and found DR. Kotlus, and so glad I did. He told me the best result would be to have under eye surgery, but I am not ready for that now. So I asked for undereye filler. There was a little pinch and after that just some funny noises when he was injecting the filler. I had swelling and a little bruising the next day. I love the way I look, it is a great improvement. I wo... read more

Can’t even describe how happy I am with the results! I did a chemical peel under my eye, and it came out amazing! Dr Kotlus is very honest, And will let you know if the procedure is a possibility or not. I’m very grateful I found him and I can’t believe I took so long to do it!

I had my under eyes filled in. Dr. Kotlus did an amazing job and made me feel safe, confident and like I was in great hands. I would and likely will go see him again for other work. I would recommend him to any of my friends. He truly the best of the best. Do not hesitate to make an appointment for a consultation.

I am absolutely thrilled with my under eye dermal fillers that were injected with Restylane by Dr. Kotlus. From the moment I arrived at his Woodbury, Long Island office I knew that I had finally found the right doctor. For nearly two years, I’ve been researching for the right physician to treat my tear troughs. Prior to meeting with Dr Kotlus, I met with 5 plastic surgeons (yes 5), only to walk out of their offices deflated. I realized that an oculoplastic surgeon was the ONLY physician I would trust to inject such a sensiti... read more

Excellent overall experience in terms of service and outcome. Dr. Kotlus is meticulous, takes the time to listen to the patient, and is thoughtful and clear in explaining possible options and outcomes. I had revision Asian double eyelid (blepharoplasty) surgery. I had gotten the double suture method done in Korea five years ago, but one of my eyelids lost its crease. I almost bought a plane ticket to Korea the next day, but decided to do some research and see if there were any qualified surgeons in NYC. Luckily, there were, ... read more

Dr. Kotlus is prompt, welcomes you with a friendly smile, listens to your request/s and gives you his honest assessment. He will not push products and unnecessary procedures upon you. That says a lot about Dr. Kotlus' character and business practice. Amen. He has incredible bedside manner and a steady hand. He has an uncanny calming effect. My results from Dysport and Defyne are always wonderful. His goal is to look natural, not overdone. If I get Dysport and filler-happy, he explains and educates why it would defeat the pur... read more
