I had the best homemade veggie burger, My guests had a pastrami sandwich on rye and an every day turkey meal. All three choices were delicious. Our waiter, Pat was charming and efficient and got our order right. We are so glad we made a reservation on Open Table or we would have had to wait in line. Instead we were shown to our booth immediately. Thank you.

I'm glad that we can make reservations at TImes Square location. ALways reliable pre-theater. Very generous portions.

The food was ok, the service was also just ok. We did not see much of our server throughout the visit (he never did bring the bread we requested twice) until the end we saw three servers, a bus boy and the Maître d' repeatedly asking if they could clear our plates. We were not slow and we did not take our time eating, we where all very hungry. They rushed us. I have a feeling if our table of four adults had been drinking cocktails we would not have been rushed. I thought I had made a reservation, but when I checked my confirmation, saw that it was for the Brooklyn Diner on 42 Street. I called them and a very pleasant Mitch told me that the Diner on 57th Street does not accept reservations. However, he said that he would call them and tell them about my dilemma. Great location. Food was very good but it is quite expensive and the service was very slow. It took 25 minutes to get coffee which is not the usual New York experience at all. Lots of kitchen staff standing around and not enough waiters. Having said that the pancakes were excellent and the eggs delicious. I would go again and give them another chance but only if I wasn't in a hurry.
