The quality of food for a diner is a few levels up from standard. The pot roast was rather good, along with the mashed sweet potatoes. Exceptional servers catered to our dietary needs and quirks. Very kind and engaging. The manager, "Deborah?" helped the service flow smoothly, as a manager should. We went back, and this time we brought a friend. We'll go back again!
We ate an early supper here, in between picking up tickets and walking down the block for our show. Location is awesome; menu had enough variety to suit different interests; service was attentive and quick. Tables are rather close together, but hey, it's NY.
Love this place for breakfast, lunch and pre or post theater dining. Inventive takes on diner food and much much more. Richard makes everyone feel like he's welcoming them into his home.
It's been several years since I've gone to Brooklyn Diner but I would have to say the food is just as good as I remember. The egg white spinach and mushroom omelet was perfectly made and the portion was quite large. I look forward to coming back in the near future
The salmon eggs Benedict are definitely worth trying if you like salmon. Good service & good coffee.
What a great place to eat....and drink! Burgers for all but there are plenty of interesting dishes on the menu that I would like to try. My son and husband had some great beers but I opted for the Black Cherry Sling cocktail. An excellent choice. The service was great. We were greeted very pleasantly and our waiter chatted us up nicely. I have already recommended the Brooklyn Diner to a friend of mine who is seeing a show in NYC in a few weeks. Great Times Square location and lots of yummy food. Fantastic, energetic waiter made it even more fun. The portion sizes are HUGE, so plan accordingly!
Good for pre theatre must have reservation never disappointed with quality of food
The food was fine, but very overpriced relative to the quality.
