We visited Brooklyn Diner on our first night in New York. It was great to visit a real American diner. The atmosphere was great and the three members of staff who served us during our visit were really friendly. I ordered a Brooklyn burger on gluten free bread. It was bread rather than a bun but it was really tasty. The waiter (James) also mentioned that the chips were cooked in a fryer with none gluten free products and offered an alternative to them. Amazing burgers. Some of the best ever. Highly recommend!
The best French toast I've ever had! Excellent service!
I found this diner while on vacation in NYC. I first ate there for lunch then dragged my sister there another day for breakfast. It's within short walking distance of Times Square. Also, they take reservations and the food was delicious! I had the egg white omelette...yum!
Perfect little spot to dine before a play. Felt cozy and warm inside, partially because of the physical structure but also due to the very inviting host and servers. The food was perfect comfort food, burger, hot dogs, soup. Delicious, hand cut French fries. We accidentally found this place but will intentionally revisit.
My husband I went here for a late breakfast when we last stayed in the city. The food was goo. The people friendly. But the tables were so packed together that I felt like we were all eating breakfast together. Not what I want to do over my first cup of coffee in the morning.
Nice place for dinner before a show. Food was very good for a tourist spot.
Easy to find, just off time square. Thought it might be a bit touristy but a good experience. Good portion sizes but expensive overall - then again everything's expensive in NY!
The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. The food was delicious. We ordered the house specialties of chicken soup and pot pie. The waiter advised us to split the pot pie and I'm so glad he did, it was huge!
