Had the pastrami sandwich which was just amazing. Even the fries were something special. Cheesecake was a great finish (but sharing is recommended after a big Brooklyn Diner meal). Service was pretty good. Atmosphere is perfect.
A very good choice for an early (pre-matinee) lunch. Arriving at 11:30, we had a large and comfortable booth by the windows. Right in the heart of Times Square. Comfort food, for example chicken pot pie, wonderful!
Food was good and a convenient location for going to a Broadway show. Wait staff wasn't as attentive as they could've been. Host was a little rude.
A good find so close to Times Square. I was skeptical because they had an opening on Saturday night- but it was great! My eight-year old had spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. She's got pretty good taste for food. I had chicken parm, with a side of spaghetti. Also quite good. They had a decent beer selection. Not tavern-worthy, but better than anything you'd see at a chain.
Dear Sirs, We were delighted with Brooklyn Diner Times Square. Outstanding place, very charming people atending us and very good food. Thank you very much for this unforgetable experience (the best experience in december 31th to january 1st). Kind Regards, Carlos Crespo-Pérez
A great burger spot and more. It's my go-to place when I want to have a casual non-touristy experience and good Brooklyn-style dining in the crowded neighborhoods of Times Square and 57th Street. Our reservation through Open Table earned us a premium table on busy January 1st.
Enjoyed lunch before the theater. Would recommend requesting a booth. Table are really too close together.
We had a 5:30 reservation....reservations are a must, they took us right on time. The chicken pot pie was the size of a large dinner plate and was delishious. There were lots of selections for all types of food tastes. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for down home style meal.
Our server Dan is the best! We have been coming here for years at the holidays. Always eat here before we go to a show.
