Greeted at the door as if we were long-lost family, we stepped back in time. The daily made-from-scratch chicken pot pie could feed a small army, but no one wants to share!! Every dish is delicious. The service is impeccable, management is constantly present and checking on tables. All around great place to eat....anytime of the day!!!

Right next in the heart of Times Square, but good for kids. Plus, they take reservations. Good burgers and chicken pot pie.

Food was good but we asked for medium well burgers and they came out pretty rare. They did take them back and gave us dessert for free. It's a nice little place and the staff is excellent. Good place for casual delish food - chocolate cake was delightful.

Great location just off Times Square. Good food but not the typical low diner prices due to location, but quality is better than a typical diner. I would recommend to eat here prior to a show if you are on limited time schedule.

Went here for the first time with my family and we were very happy with the entire experience! The chicken pot pie was outrageous. It tasted like something your grandmother would have made! The burgers and hotdogs were delicious as well as the homemade noodle kugel. We shared a giant slice of chocolate blackout cake which can only be described as decadent. Loved the place, the food and they take reservations too! The maitre d was extremely personable and kind. Great pre or post Broadway show meal. Enjoy!

Ate lunch at the Brooklyn Diner before seeing Beautiful. The Mac & Cheese was delicious. Liked that it was so close to the theatre. My real reservation was for dinner after the show. I had the Chicken Noodle Soup and it was delicious. I was on a really tight Amtrak train schedule and I'm really glad I chose the Brooklyn Diner as the service was great, waiters were friendly and my food came out really fast. If coming to NY to see Beautiful, I would highly recommend eating there as it is across the street..and down a little.

Personable people--- kind of slow. Not a place for a pre-show meal. Good food, though slightly overpriced.

A quintessential NYC diner. It has charachter, ambiance, and energy found only around the heart of the city. From the moment you enter, Chris, the manager greets you with a smile, and makes you feel welcome. The service is prompt and friendly, and he food is excellent.
