I always start with a positive..... We had a reservation and were seated right away. Because we were in the city and the ambiance is nicer than a traditional diner, I decided to try a steak. Big mistake.... It was literally inedible, as was the side of rice. The worst part is that the waiter removed my completely full plate and didn't even ask if there was an issue. Terrible service! I always leave a tip, but not today. I had to request our coffee and juice orders three times before it was fulfilled. The waitress never checked on us. Never offered to refill coffee or ask how our food was. My eggs, requested over easy, were hard fried. Waitress never returned to check on the order. My $19 hash was left uneaten. Three orders (hash, pancakes, oatmeal, coffee and one orange juice) was $67 before (and after) tip. Unbelievably expensive restaurant with substandard food and terrible service.

I come in pretty regular, asked for a booth but was stuck in a tight table against a wall. Service was the worst I have ever had here. Had to ask for coffee, waited over 30 minutes for our order to be delivered to the table after asking the waiter twice to check on our order. Dissappointed on this trip.

So SAD. Used to love this place. It was DISGUSTING. Absolutely inedible. GROSS. Management was genuinely apologetic. We ordered 2 Reuben sandwiches. It's the house specialty used to be excellent. Manager could see that what was served to us was hunks of repulsive looking fatty meat. My husband suffered through the edible meat bits on his. I was repulsed trying to even chew it. Bad pastrami. Nice enough ambiance and friendly staff but wow not good food at all. Very fatty lots and f gristle.

Friendly staff is the best attribute. Waiter recommended Chicken parmigiano which was dry and burnt accompanied by bland spaghetti. My friend had a bunless salmon burger which she enjoyed. Didn't have high expectations but was still disappointed.

Took 30 mins to get our food even though no one was in there. Server barely attended us. When our food came it was cold. Cold eggs???? Totally gross. By the time we left it was so crowded with people waiting for a seat, we could hardly get out. My kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes, though.

Salad took 40 mins and ends of pieces of chicken were dried out and barely any in the salad, 4 pieces of tiny avocado.. etc..for $20!!! waitress said salad took so long when table next to us got their food because it was " being cooked to order"...NOT... place use to be crowded at 12:30 weekday... I know why it wasn't today...won't go back... and complained to hostess or manager didn't seem to really care except asked what I ordered...
