Way over priced. Mediocre food. So-so service. Tourist trap.
Salad took 40 mins and ends of pieces of chicken were dried out and barely any in the salad, 4 pieces of tiny avocado.. etc..for $20!!! waitress said salad took so long when table next to us got their food because it was " being cooked to order"...NOT... place use to be crowded at 12:30 weekday... I know why it wasn't today...won't go back... and complained to hostess or manager didn't seem to really care except asked what I ordered...
Took 1 hour to get a cold steak. Would not recommend at all
Waited 20 minutes. Waiter was ok. Food was just ok and very expensive for just ok. Will not be returning here on our next trip to NY city too many other great places.
Receptionist was lovely. Diner was very busy and extremely loud even though we did have a nice table in the back. Was never quite sure who our server was as we had several. Kitchen had to be terribly busy as once we gave our order we had to wait over 30 minutes for eggs.
Been here many times and by far the worst service. Arrived on time for my reservation. Restaurant was about 1/3 full as the pre-theater rush was about to begin. Took a few mins to be greeted and when I was it was by a surly server. Escorted me to a horrible table at the peak of the traffic for servers and anyone who wants to go to the bathroom. It was closed due to an emergency in the kitchen...had to go somewhere else.
There is a reason native New Yorker's do not often go to restaurants in Times Square. This was loud, over-priced, food was below average and worse still, were the numerous little flying bugs around the table and our meal.
It was a Tuesday night and it took 30 minutes for the waiter to come to our table which started off our evening not so good. The restaurant was not even busy. However, the food turned out to be really good and we were able to make it to our play on time.
