Several items were omitted at serving or improperly cooked. Not happy when you pay $125 for breakfast for 4 and have to deal with these issues
Really disappointed as was recommended and was for our daughter's birthday. Food was "fast" food. Generally poor but not cheap! Would not return. Think the location doesn't help. Who needs to try? There is always another Times Square punter.
I went to the Brooklyn Diner on West 43rd Street for lunch before a Broadway theater matinee. I arrived at 12:20 p.m. and the matinee was at 2:00 p.m.. Since the restaurant is right in the heart of the theater district, I figured they would be used to people having to eat in a timely fashion in order to make it to the show. I was wrong. I chose the BD as a pre theater spot as it was very close to the show we were seeing. I had a meal there with a friend who is a regular. It was a good experience so I thought I would give it a try. It was fair at best. Slow service- kitchen I think, so the waiter. Never asked if I wanted refills on my drink. Terrible service! Food was great. Waitress was rude, had a terrible attitude and messed up 2 out of 5 of our orders. The food was great which is really sad for the restaurant.
No eggs or breakfast after noon. This is a "theme restaurant" as we were told, charmingly, by our very nice, engaging waitress. Expensive food, worse than ordinary. Two locations near Times Square only, preying on tourists. Nothing in Brooklyn, ever.
Waiter was rude, the salad was soggy and the prices are high.
Unbelievably expensive, even for New York. It was very very crowded and very very noisy. The prices were ridiculous. A cup of coffee was four dollars and the waitress never even came back to refill them because she was so busy running around. The egg white omelette with various ingredients and feta cheese was a huge mess with so much cheese you could even eat the omelette. A bagel, not even toasted enough for my liking, was $4.50. I dine here quite regularly with clients and this was the worst service I have ever received. We never saw our waiter after he gave us our drinks-never a refill on water or soda throughout the entire meal. Very disappointed in the service this time-first time I've had an issue.
