THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE MESSED UP MY DINNER ORDER. I ORDERED THEIR GREAT CHICKEN POT PIE - AND AT 6:30 PM THEY WERE OUT OF IT. THAT WAS AFTER TAKING MY ORDER - AND ACCEPTING IT. FOR MESSING IT UP - THEY OFFERED UP FREE DESSERTS FOR US - WHICH WAS VERY NICE, BUT DIDN'T MAKE UP FOR DINNER REALLY... IT IS ON OF THEIR SIGNATURE ITEMS - SO RESLLY SURPRISING TO BE OUT OF IT AT 6:30 PM...
Our dinner at Brooklyn Diner, as always, was wonderful. If you get there, have the Chicken Pot Pie.
Ata and Michele were very welcoming and Hayden was an attentive waiter. My husband tried the fish and chips and found the fish to be overcooked and meager in portion size with the breading attached. My Chinese salad with grilled shrimp was excellent and I will definitely have it again.
Genevieve was outstanding! What a warm and welcoming person. Very professional. Treated us like family. The food arrived fast and it was great. The coffee was excellent.

We ate there twice. Once for a casual diner and the pastrami was amazing - everything was excellent. The second time was for breakfast. Everything cooked perfectly, our waiter was terrific. The atmosphere is great; it is clean and inviting. Enjoyed both meals a lot. We will be back!

The Brooklyn Diner is always reliable. We've been eating there for at least 20 years and have never had a bad meal. The hot dogs are legendary but should be shared by most people. This was the best avocado toast I've had in years, with generous portions of avocado, 2 perfectly poached eggs, and a generous portion of nova on the side.

We arrived for brunch and were immediately greeted and seated. The food was wonderfully prepared and presented. We wife enjoyed the Tony Bennet French Toast with a side of bacon and I had the French Royale Breakfast. Both were delicious and we highly recommend both of them.

Carnegie Hall Pre performance dinner with a friend. Required good timing of quick in and out. (We had 6:15 reservation and an 8 pm perfofmance to attend.) We were quickly seated by a friendly host who made certain we were seated in a location we were happy with and we were. Promptly waited on. We had our orders taken quickly by a friendly wait person. Brooklyn Diner has always been our favorite spot before catching a show. It’s genuinely sad to hear it’s closing—we’ll truly miss it.
