We were meeting some friends who were on their way to the opera, and appreciated the prompt service. I had the Reuben, which was delicious. The pastrami practically melts in your mouth. The only disappointment was that they were out of the chicken pot pie. We'll have to come back for that.

Spectacular job from everyone at Brooklyn Diner! We came for breakfast, and had cappuccinos, espresso, and a fantastic breakfast! I ordered the Egg White Vernon Brown omelette, great flavor, and also had the everything bagel. My husband did the classic eggs Benedict and added the homemade sausage. Side Note: highly recommend ordering the Homemade Biscuit with homemade strawberry jam. Stopped by today as well and finally got a lovely end of of our trip with it.

We came in for dessert after Xmas eve's Carnegie Hall concert. We had light desserts. We were nicely welcomed, seated and had the right amount of attention. This was exactly what we needed. Thank you.

I always go to Brooklyn diner when I visit NYC. However, the last 2 times I couldn’t get what I came for…..a Chicken Pot Pie. In recent years I’ve had a 5 pm and a 630 pm reservation. At 5pm the pot pies weren’t ready and last night at 630 they were sold out. That’s too small a window for an item to be available. Make more!!
