DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THIS ****!! I do not recommend using Cactus Credit if your looking to have your debt reduced. They charge you $2700 to refer you to a trustee to set up a Consumer Proposal when you can just as easily contact a trustee yourself and have the process done for as little as $105. This information is not provided to you when you initially set up and in fact they make it sound like they are a trustee. I spent hundreds of dollars, got ******into paying out for a service which was never rendered. My credit never changed. They keep saying that they are working hard on your credit but nothing ever comes of it. * ** * **** ******** ******** ****** * **** **** **** **** * ***** ****** ******and I was just trying to improve my credit rating which I was promised. So disappointed I spent out hundreds of dollars to Cactus Credit. I would not recommend at all.
I reached out to cactus credit to consolidate my bills or lower the interest rate so I could repair my credit. They were very persistent with signing a contract, when all I wanted was a consult and I got stuck with opting out fee which they claimed would be 290x2, I paid them off thinking they would cancel said contract, however I received an email stating I still.owe 4 payments of 290, when I called to get this straightened out they danced around the subject and kept telling me that I signed a contract, they didn't do anyth... read more
I don't even want to give them one star, they pressure vulnerable people into their service and convince them they can help. They don't give you time to think or read contracts because they are sales people and their motto is "we want to get started right away tackling your debt"... as in, give us your money! NO REFUNDS HERE.
I had a job and wanted to repair my credit when I found Cactus, however after I was injured at work I asked they postpone until I had surgery and return to work so I can afford the service. They randomly *****money from my account, my Rent money, not only did my Credit stay the same they $300 and provided no service at all. They talk about some mysterious ways they have to deal with *******and **********. The person who they call "case manager" doesn't exist. A lady called me once and didn't answer any of my questions specifically, just saying we will send letters. Months past and they keep charging me for monthly fees and I keep receiving the same letters from both ******* and **********. The more time it takes, the more money they make. Please I beg you, don’t go with them. They don’t listen to you at all. They do what ever they want and cut the charges every month silently. They don’t even intimidate about the payments. I paid almost 1000$ but not even a single credit score is increased. They just tell us that we have to wait for mails and those will never come. But we have to pay them every month
I think cactus credit is a *** ****. Promise a higher credit rating in 6 months , well 1 year and 1300$ later my credit never approved 1 point, they asked me my adress twice a month for the whole term saying the credit buerue needed it well I gave it to them every time and they still kept on asking. I’m trying to get my money back but that will never happen I’m sure
**** and said they were not a consumer proposal place I asked twice they investigate it and apparently I’m wrong. Refuses to accept their mistakes
